Swiss Pairs Events 2018/19
To be held over four evenings. Each evening will be hosted by one of the four affiliated EBU clubs. These pairs events will each comprise 5 x 5 boards.
There will be first and second prizes for each event together with non-expert prize presented on the evening. An overall first and second prizes for the average of the best three results, will be presented at the A.G.M. In addition, an individual prize will be given at the discretion of the N.D.S.; the winners of the overall pairs prize will not be eligible for the individual prize.
The programme is as follows:

Monday March 18th - Taw Vale Bridge Club
Tuesday April 16th - Caen Bridge Club
The cost for these events will be £3.50 for EBU members.
You should arrive by 6.45 and be ready to play by 6.50 pm

1. Lovell Trophy: To be played with the same partner over four evenings, with the best three scores to count. 2. Singles: To be played over four nights with different partners, with the best three results to count. 3. There is an Overall Pairs Trophy for the pair who score most positional points in events in the programme that are designated solely “Open Pairs Φ”. 4. The “Open Pairs Φ” evenings and the Charity evening (May 20th ) are expected to use shuffled boards. All other events are shown in Bold and are expected to use pre-dealt boards where possible. 5.
