Education conference UTEP College of Education will be host of the fourth annual A Better Beginning Conference for novice teachers from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Sept. 27, in the College of Education. The conference is open to teachers with zero to three years experience. Topics include lesson plan- ning, time management, school resources, assessment and grading, engaging parents and much more. The keynote speaker is Candelario Barragan, a recipient of the 2007 Milken Family Foundation’s Na- tional Education Award.
