RIVERVIEW CORRIDOR RiverviewCorridor.com Project Purpose and Goals The purpose of the Riverview Corridor Project is to provide transit service that enhances mobility and accessibility for residents, businesses and workers, and supports economic opportunities within the project area, particularly in low income neighborhoods. Project need #1: Planning for population and employment growth As population and employment in the study area increase, the demand for transportation will also increase.

Project need #2: Meeting the needs of people who rely on transit Transit is a significant public investment and it should benefit those who rely on it most. Those who depend on transit include low- and moderate-income households, people with limited mobility, elderly people, and young people.
