Recommended book: Sewing Lingerie that Fits; Morris, Karen; Taunton Press; 2001 ($24.95- Amazon.com). There are several lingerie reference books, but if you want to get one, Karen’s is the most comprehensive.

Pattern: You will get the Intimates (teddy, panties, garter) pattern the first class. Later on you’ll get the bra pattern. On the next page are the yardage requirements. You’ll start with the teddy. If you have fabric you’d like to use, please bring it. You’ll talk about fabric, fit, layout and cutting during the first class.
