The candidates who got admission into B. Tech. programs of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Tiruchirappalli (IIIT-T) for the academic year 2019 - 2020 through special round (CSAB 2019) are requested to report to the Institute for ADMISSION AND HOSTEL ALLOTMENT as per the schedule given below:

1. Reporting details (B.Tech. Programs)

Reporting period 2nd to 5th August 2019 Time 10.00 AM to 4.30 PM Venue Room No. 107, IIIT-T NIT CAMPUS, TIRUCHIRAPPALLI

2. Certificates to be produced at the time of admission (Originals)

I. Provisional Admission letter issued by the Reporting Center and print out of seat acceptance / upgradation, if any. II. Photo ID proof issued by Central /State Govt./ Last attended School/ XII Admit card III. Downloaded Admit & Score Card with rank of JEE (Main)-2019 issued by NTA IV. Transfer Certificate / leaving certificate from school last studied V. Marks sheet and Pass Certificate of qualifying examination VI. Class X (High School) Board Certificate as proof of date of birth & Name VII. Conduct and character certificate from school last studied VIII. Social Category Certificate [GEN-EWS / OBC(NCL) / SC / ST] issued by the competent authority, if applicable IX. Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), if applicable X. Proof for PIO/OCI, if Applicable XI. Medical fitness certificate as per the JoSAA 2019 format XII. One set of self-attested copies of each of the above certificates XIII. Five passport size and Two stamp size photographs identical to the one pasted on the JEE (Main)-2019 application form XIV. Institute fees (DD Only) XV. Hostel fees (DD only) Note: a. If the original certificates are not in Hindi/ English, duly certified Hindi/ English version/ translation of such certificates will be required. b. The original certificates and attested copies will be retained by the Institute. c. Candidates are instructed to keep sufficient number of Photostat copies of the original documents submitted.

1 d. Candidate must be present in person along with parent / authorized guardian for taking admission at IIIT, Tiruchirappalli (NIT Tiruchirappalli Campus). Admission in absentia (proxy) will not be allowed even on medical grounds. e. CANDIDATES ALLOTTED UNDER PwD CATEGORY SHOULD REPORT AT 10 AM as specified in the reporting dates except Sunday TO APPEAR BEFORE THE MEDICAL BOARD

3. Fee to be paid at the time of admission#

Institute Fee# OPEN / GEN- : The Seat acceptance fee Rs. 35,000/- paid during JoSAA rounds plus EWS / OBC-NCL Rs. 35,000/- paid (after deducting the processing fee of Rs.1500/-) during Candidates CSAB Special Round will be adjusted against the Institute fees (Rs.1,02,750/-). The balance of Rs. 32,750/- has to be submitted in terms of DD Drawn in favour of “Director IIIT, Srirangam”, payable at Tiruchirappalli. OPEN-PwD/ The Seat acceptance fee Rs. 15,000/- paid during JoSAA rounds plus GEN-EWS-PwD/ Rs.15,000/- paid (after deducting the processing fee of Rs.1500/-) during OBC-NCL-PwD CSAB Special Round will be adjusted against the Institute fees Candidates (Rs.1,02,750/-). The balance of Rs. 72,750/- has to be submitted in terms of DD Drawn in favour of “Director IIIT, Srirangam”, payable at Tiruchirappalli. SC / ST : The Seat acceptance fee Rs.15,000/- paid during JoSAA rounds plus Candidates Rs. 15,000/- paid (after deducting the processing fee of Rs.1500/-) during CSAB Special Round will be adjusted against the Institute fees Rs.22,750/-. The balance amount Rs.7,250/- will be adjusted in the II Semester Institute Fee. Hostel and Mess fees# All Candidates : Rs. 39,000/- (Drawn in favour of “Director, IIIT Srirangam”, payable at Tiruchirappalli).

2 ANNEXURE – I

General Information

i. Banking facility: State Bank of India (Branch Code: 1617) branch is functioning in NIT Tiruchirappalli, Campus with ATM facilities. ii. Location of the Institute: IIIT Tiruchirappalli is located inside the NIT Tiruchirappalli campus. NIT-Tiruchirappalli is located about 22 km from Tiruchirappalli Junction / Central Bus stand on the Tiruchirappalli-Thanjavur Highway. Tiruchirappalli is also well-connected to the other cities of Tamil Nadu, southern Karnataka and Kerala through Govt./Private buses. One can get buses from Tiruchirappalli to almost any part of the state, due to its geographical location in the center of Tamil Nadu. The Central bus station runs long distance services to major cities of the State and South India such as Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Erode, Thiruvananthapuram and Tirupathi. The simplest and most economical way to reach NIT-Tiruchirappalli is by bus. Any city Bus at Tiruchirapalli Junction will take you to the central bus stand. To reach NIT, Tiruchirappalli, kindly board Thanjavur bound mofosil or route bus. The journey time from Tiruchirappalli will be around 40 minutes. The executive way of reaching NIT- Tiruchirappalli will be hiring a taxi. Taxis may charge around Rs.500/-. Tiruchirappalli is an important junction on the Southern Railway. It connects Chennai, Thanjavur, Madurai, Tirupati, Rameswaram, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Kolkata, Jammu, New Delhi, Cochin and Mangalore. It has an international airport, and is connected with Chennai, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Colombo.

5. Dress Code

Boys : All the boy students should come with formal dress to the class rooms & computer labs, preferably full pant and shirt. Wearing T-shirts and other informal dresses in the class rooms is strictly prohibited. Girls : All the girl students should come with formal dress to the class rooms & computer labs, in saree or churidar with dupatta. Wearing T-shirts and other informal dresses in the class rooms & labs is strictly prohibited.
