Welcome to Saint Barnabas Church Founded in 1869, Saint Barnabas is a parish of the Ordinariate of the Chair of . The Ordinariate was established in 2012 by Benedict XVI in order to preserve elements of the Anglican tradition within the . The parish entered the Catholic Church in 2013. is celebrated using , the Vatican- promulgated also known as the Ordinariate or . All Catholics may fulfill their Mass obligation on Sundays and holydays at Saint Barnabas. Catholics in full with the of Rome may receive Holy Communion at our Masses.  PRECAUTIONS AT MASS The Sunday Mass obligation remains suspended, and all those who are at risk of infection are encouraged to remain at home. Those who do attend Mass are expected to maintain social distancing, especially in the pews and at the communion rail, and to make use of the hand sanitizer available at each entrance. Attendants are also encouraged to wear masks. Holy Communion is distributed at the rail immediately after Mass, allowing the celebrant to wash his hands and put on a mask before distributing the Sacrament, which will be in the form of the Sacred Host only.  CONFESSIONS Saturday confessions are heard in the Lady Chapel, for one hour, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Confessions are also heard on Sunday morning at 10:00 am until about 10:20 am, and by appointment. The open gate to the Lady Chapel indicates that Father is in the chapel behind the screen. Hand sanitizer is available at the entrance to the chapel.

 STEWARDSHIP DRIVE With the 2020-2021 fiscal year set to begin on July 1, all those who worship regularly at Saint Barnabas are encouraged to submit a pledge card, if they have not already done so during the stewardship campaign. Pledge cards with envelopes are available at all entrances beginning this Sunday. Please enclose completed cards in an envelope and either drop them in the collection plate or mail them to the parish office. Pledgers are encouraged to sign up for online giving using the link to the We Share programon the parish web site.

 VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED In order to better observe that necessary precautions for the resumption of public Mass, volunteers are needed to serve as ushers at the 10:30 am Sunday Mass. Ushers will greet attendees and direct them to bulletins, etc, help them be seated, and direct them to the rail for Holy Communion. Please contact the parish if you would like to volunteer. In addition, anyone interested volunteering to operate the camera system for livestreaming should contact Marijo Bosiljevac for training and scheduling.

 SACRAMENTAL AND PASTORAL CARE Please contact the parish office for individual appointments for confession, anointing of the sick, and reception of Holy Communion. Home blessings are also available, using the Easter Water blessed on Holy Saturday. Those who are not yet prepared to participate in the public celebration of Mass are especially encouraged to make arrangements to receive Holy Communion, either in their homes or at the parish house, with all necessary precautions observed.

EXEMPLIFICATION With the Immaculate Conception council of the Knights of Columbus moving to Saint Barnabas, all those who are in need of undergoing the first three degrees can do so online. Please see the attached schedule below, and use council number 14470 when registering..
