Judy Garland Judy Garland was born Frances Ethel Gumm in Minnesota on June 10, 1922. Judy made over 30 movies for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, including "The Wizard of Oz," "Meet Me in St. Louis," and "For Me and My Gal." Thanks to her former husband and manager Sid Luft, Judy had a historic comeback: sold-out concerts at the London Palladium, a record-breaking 19 weeks at Broadway's Palace Theatre, Academy Award nominations for "A Star is Born," and for "Judgment at Nuremberg," and Emmy-nominated television specials. She won multiple Grammy Awards for "Judy at Carnegie Hall" in 1962 and starred in CBS' "The Judy Garland Show," which aired 1963-1964. Judy had three children: Liza Minnelli, Lorna Luft, and Joey Luft.
Joey Luft Joey Luft was born on March 29, 19S5, in Los Angeles. His family includes mom Judy Garland, father Sid Luft, sister Lorna Luft, and half-sister Liza Minnelli. Joey is an avid photographer and had a knack for the drums in his youth. He appeared on the Christmas special of "The Judy Garland Show" and sang with his mom and performed solo. Joey is working on his autobiography about being the only son of the world's greatest entertainer.
John Kimble For 20 years, John Kimble was the business partner of Sid Luft, Judy Garland's former husband and manager, and John has been a lifelong friend of Joey Luft, Sid and Judy's son. John currently manages the extensive list of assets of Royal Rainbow Productions, LLC. He is responsible for utilizing these assets for projects that are marketed through live stage shows, broadcast television, satellite, cable, Internet, DVDs, and digital distribution. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, John spent his career in the music business as an artist, performer, and musical producer with firsthand experience in the challenges of talent development.
Philip Sandhaus Philip has been an artist manager, record label executive, brand marketer, and theatre and film producer. He has held management positions at both Columbia Records and Capitol Records, where he oversaw "The Beatles Anthology" project. Phil was the creative manager for David Bowie for music, film, and theatre; manager for The Rolling Stones; and executive producer for "M. Butterfly," the feature film version of the Tony Award-winning Broadway play. He has worked with companies such as McDonald's, Hasbro, and Victoria's Secret. Sandhaus is vice chairman of the board of Tim Robbins' theatre company, The Actors' Gang. He holds a B.S. from Cornell University.
