Driscoll “Impressions of the Catskills” is a collection of special moments in the Catskill Mountains, by award winning photographer Francis X. Driscoll. His solo exhibition comprised of photographs taken while hiking and exploring woodland trails, will be on display from January 6 through February 27 at The Agroforestry Center located in Acra, N.Y. Meet this accomplished photographer at the artist’s reception on January 18th from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Francis X. Driscoll is an award winning nature photographer whose work has appeared in many publications, including National Geographic Explorer and Cynthia Dantz ic’s prestigious art book, 100 New York Photographers. He grew up in the Bronx, where he experimented with photography as teenager, and he eventually went on to travel the country, sett ling in California and working in the fi lm industry as a Grip. When he returned to the East Coast, he found his way to the Catskill Mountains, and it was here where he took up photography and began to redis- cover a talent only glimpsed in his youth.
