Organized and Led Research Expeditions Over the past five years I have organized and led twenty geological field research expeditions looking at late Permian, Early and Middle Triassic strata to: Aggtelek Karst, Mecsek Mountains, Bükk Mountains and Balaton Highlands (Hungary); Lombardy and Dolomites (Italy); central and western Svalbard (Arctic Norway); Miyagi Prefecture (Japan); Skyros Island (Greece); Alabama, Nevada and Utah (USA); Durham (UK); Luodian (Guizhou, China). The primary focus of these research expeditions was sedimentological logging, collecting fossil samples, and sampling rock for inorganic geochemistry in order to reconstruct the impact of past climate change. Other research expeditions include: Languedoc and the Pyrenees (France); Maltese Islands, Chembe and Mulangi (Malawi), Bavaria (Germany), Whitby, and Lyme Regis (UK).
