The Usefulness of . . . Evidence

Colin Miller Since this is EvidenceProf Blog, it seems appropriate tomentioncelebrate this post by Associate Professor of Law Orin Kerr over at the Volokh Conspiracy. The Univ. of South Carolina School of Law post describes the results of a survey of • Profile George Washington Law School alumni who • Email were asked to identify the "most useful" • SSRN Author Page elective they had taken in law school. The Contributing Editor survey results received surprisingly widespread coverage given that the results Jeffrey Bellin seem intuitive (at least to Associate Professor of Law me). Hereis coverage on the Wall Street William & Mary Law School Journal Law Blog; here on the ABA • Profile Journal;here on Prof. Bainbridge (celebrating • Email thethird place finish of Corporations). • SSRN Author Page Whatever the survey's weaknesses (and News Readers & Feeds why admit that there are any?), the results are good for Evidence professors. Evidence FeedBurner Subscription was the winner, hands down. Service Administrative Law came in second – although one suspects that Administrative Law would not have done nearly as well in a Enter your Email survey of alumni of any school not located in Washington, D.C., but I will let someone on CorporationsProf Blog take up that fight . . .
