Itinerary
The Lake Constance is located at the intersection of Austria, Germany and Switzerland. You will discover this little paradise at the foot of the Swiss Alps. Bike routes wind along the Lake Constance, forests and little typical villages. A complete change of scenery that give you the impression to be far away in another timelife. Enjoy the city charm for a cooling dive of Constance, Meersburg, Lindau, Bregenz or Arbon. Stop at the beach, discover open-air opera right on the Lake Constance in Bregenz or savour an ice cream on the charming harbor of Lindau. From the shore or from thewater, the Lake Constance offers you its incredible beauty and is, quite rightly, one of the favorite German holiday places. Day 1
Arrival in Constance Arrival in this beautiful city. Walk around the beautiful old city of Constance.
Day 2
Constance – Region You leave Constance and cross the lake on a big dyke towards the Monastic Island of around Stein-am-Rhein Reichenau. It was an important spiritual center in the Middle-Age and is now listed as Unesco World Heritage Site. You continue to the peninsula Höri, which inspired a lot of Bike German artists like Hermann Hesse and Otto Dix. Continue to follow shore of the Lake 30/55km Constance between the vineyard sand ride to Diessenhofen.

Day 3
Region Stein-am-Rhein - Enjoy your morning by walking around the old city of Stein-am-Rhein. You discover Überlingen facades integrally painted with frescos. Return to Constance in taking the Swiss side of the Lake Constance and passing through little fishermen’s villages. Continue then your Bike ride on the German countryside behind Constance. You reach very quickly Wallhausen 45/55km where the ferries are awaiting you. You enjoy a beautiful maritime view on the Lake Constance. The crossing takes you to the charming city of Überlingen.
Day 4
Überlingen - Region Bike through the vineyards until Friedrichshafen. On the way, do not miss the delightful Kressbronn baroque church of Birnau, typical for this region, the prehistoric museum in Unteruhldingen, the mediaeval city of Meersburg and its castle. You could also stop in the Bike Zeppelingmuseum in Friedrichshafen. Your accommodation is around Kressbonn. 50/55km
Day 5
Region Kressbronn - Continue your ride on the dedicated bike routeand stop in Lindau, a little, typical Bavarian Region city. Wander around the old city and savour a good “Käsekuchen” (cheese cake) on the harbor. You continue your stroll towards Austria. You reach Bregenz, world famous for its Höchst/Rorschach open-air opera festival taking place on the Lake Constance. You stay between Höchst and Rorschach. Bike 40/55km
Day 6 Region Ride on the Swiss shore through the lush countryside and the little villages. You Höchst/Rorschach - crossRomanshorn, the biggest harbor of Lake Constance. Enjoy the end of afternoon by walking around the old city of Constance. Constance

Parking:
If you arrive by car, you can park at the closed open-air parking at the bike rental shop. The rate is 40€ for the duration of your trip (booking not possible).

The first day is an arrival day without cycling. You arrive whenever you want depending on from where you come. Please note that rooms are usually available in the middle of the afternoon depending on your accommodation. We thank you to advise us if you plan to arrive late.
