EXHIBITION OF LEGO TOWERS PROVES A SUMMER HIT WITH ’S YOUNG ‘BRICKIES’!

Sydney Living Museums’ world-premiere exhibition Towers of Tomorrow with LEGO® Bricks has proven a hit with Sydney’s summer crowds with over 20,000 keen ‘brickies’ visiting since it opened at on 13 December. So popular with visitors, the exhibition has been extended to 12 July 2015.

Visitors of all ages have marvelled at the stunning LEGO replicas of some of Australia’s and Asia’s most impressive skyscrapers created by LEGO® certified professional Ryan McNaught, while also enjoying the opportunity to create their own towering LEGO masterpieces.

“We have been delighted with the enormous visitor response to Towers of Tomorrow, with most sessions booking out each day,” said Sydney Living Museums Director, Mark Goggin.

“Ryan McNaught’s incredible LEGO structures and the opportunity to build your own skyscraper have proven irresistible. The extraordinary LEGO towers built by our young visitors, up to 350 individual creations every day, have also been beyond our expectations.”

Towers of Tomorrow with LEGO Bricks features skyscrapers constructed from LEGO bricks with breathtaking architectural detail and accuracy.

From the and Kuala Lumpur’s twin Petronas Towers to Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands, along with Eureka Tower (Melbourne), Q1 (Gold Coast), iconic and the ‘still under construction’ buildings of the Barangaroo South complex.

“I am thrilled with the response to this exhibition. Creating two to three-metre high versions of these iconic buildings was an incredible challenge. It’s immensely gratifying that so many young visitors have been inspired to create their own superb LEGO towers,” said Ryan McNaught.
