SARRERA Zerrendak Eskola-liburuetako onomastikaren, gertaera historikoen eta artelanen izenak. Zerrendak SARRERA Zerrendak Guztira 8.414 sarrera daude, lau arlo nagusitan sailkatuak eta 8 zerrendatan banatuak. Hona hemen sailak: 1. Toponimia (leku-izenak) Hiru zerrenda daude: 1.1. Toponimia historikoa (politikoa batez ere) 1.2. Gaur egungo toponimia (fisikoa eta politikoa) 1.3. Euskal Herriko hidronimo nagusiak (ibaiak, urtegiak...) This multi-talented artist wor- ked and created art in his native Belgrade, with creativity that exceeded local frames. This research emphasizes Jovanović’s pedagogical and compositional work in the field of Byzantine music, which mostly took place through his activity in the St. John of Damascus choir in Belgrade. The author analyzes the problems in implementation of modal church Byzantine music, since the first students did not hear it in their surroundings, as well as the responses of the listeners. Special attention is paid to students’ narratives, which help us perceive the broad cultural and social impact of Jovanović’s creative work. Introduction This work was written in commemoration of a contemporary Serbian composer1 Vladimir Jovanović (1956–2016) with special reference to his role in the renewal of church Byzantine music in Serbia from the beginning of the 1990s until today.2 In the text we refer to Vladimir Jovanović as Vlada – a shortened form of his name, which relatives, friends, colleagues and students used most of- ten in communication with the composer, as an expression of sincere closeness.

It is the contention of this study that the process of transformation from idea into practice has led to mutilation, adaptation or deliberate reinterpretation of the original set of ideas. The ex­ ample of the evolution of the humanistic educational ideas of Confucius into a system of education seems to support this contention. It is hoped that this study will help separate that which is genuinely Confucius' from that which tradition has attributed to him; and to understand how this has happened and what consequences have resulted.

    1. Introduction to Historical Monetary and Financial Statistics for Sweden: Exchange rates, prices, and wages, 1277–2008 Rodney Edvinsson, Tor Jacobson and Daniel Waldenström 1.1. Background to the project This book presents new evidence on the long-run evolution of Sweden’s monetary and financial system, beginning in the Middle Ages and leading up to the present day. These new series have been generated as part of a research project run by Sveriges Riksbank, Historical Monetary and Financial Statistics for Sweden. In this project, a group of academic scholars from the disciplines of economic history and economics have compiled existing evidence and assembled new data. The present volume presents chapters dealing with exchange rates, consumer prices and wages. The overall ambition of this project has been to construct time series that are con- sistent over time and adjusted so as to fit the definitions that are applied today. There is a great difference between compiling contemporary statistics, for which data are often easily accessible, and historical statistics, where the availability of data is more of a problem. Linking long-run time series requires not only an understanding of their economic importance but also thorough knowledge of the relevant historical circumstances under which the data were generated in the past. Needless to say, this makes great demands of the researchers compiling these series. History offers empirically oriented economists an indispensable substitute for sci- entists’ laboratories. Having comparable series that span extensive time periods will greatly facilitate long-term analysis of a number of important issues.
