A celebration for

Rosie the Riveters!

Monday, September 6th,

Noon - 1:00pm Rotary Amphitheater at

Elkins Town Square

Everyone is invited to this

international event to honor Rosie the Riveters.

These were women who were employed, doing any type of defense work on the home front, during World War II.

So, bring a bell to ring, a lawn chair, sun umbrella and a packed lunch if you like.

Help us put Elkins on the map as we join this international event. There will be a group sing, music and dance of the era; recognitions, historical dialogue, presentations; and our First Baptist Choir and Handbells will be participating.

Also, all church bells will be ringing for 3 minutes at 1pm
