GRAMMY U® is a unique and fast-growing community of college students who are pursuing a career in the recording industry. The Recording Academy® created GRAMMY U to help prepare college students for their careers in the music industry through networking, educational programs and performance opportunities. GRAMMY U is designed to enhance students' current academic curriculum with access to recording industry professionals to give an "out of classroom" perspective on the recording industry.

How to Join GRAMMY U…..

How to Join  Join online at https://www.grammypro.com/grammy-u – Click on the “Apply for Membership” tab.  Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Apply to become a Student Member”  Applicants MUST provide school schedule enrollment.  Applicants should provide school email address.  For more information, contact your GRAMMY U Rep, Blair Miller, at [email protected]

Membership Price $50 Membership- A maximum of four (4) consecutive years plus two (2) consecutive post-graduate years, not to exceed six (6) total years. The term of student membership is from July 1 through June 30.

Membership Qualifications Full-time students currently enrolled in a college, university, or trade school with a desire to work in the recording industry upon graduation can become a member of GRAMMY U. Students must be majoring or minoring in music/music business or write a personal statement that describes how their courses or work experience will prepare them for a career in the music industry.

Any University student interested in a career in the music industry may join GRAMMY U. Some areas of study include, but are not limited to:
