Jordan 1917:86-87 [ref. 2407] gives a full reproduction of the description. Rafinesque 1815:91 [ref. 3584] placed near Trachiurus, Jordan indicated it had much in common with Stylephorus cordatus Shaw. Current status: Uncertain. Trachipteridae. Nemotherus Costa [O.
