Company David McDonald Representative General Manager TRFM, Gippsland’s 1242 & GOLD FM 98.3 ​ General Conditions For the purpose of these terms and conditions, ACE Radio Broadcasters Pty Ltd will be referred to as “The Promoter”.

Entry is open to Victorian residents. Under 18s must have a parent/legal guardian consent to enter. However employees and relatives of ACE Radio Broadcasters Pty. Ltd. are ineligible to enter. This includes, parents, siblings, grandparents, spouses or partners, uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews of employees.

Participating businesses, including business owners, managers, employees and their relatives are ineligible to enter at their business. This includes the parents, siblings, grandparents, spouses or partners, uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews of employees/employers.

These terms and conditions can be collected at the reception desk of TRFM & AM 1242 - 11 Coonoc Rd, Traralgon, VIC, 3844 and can be downloaded from the websites www.1242.com.au or www.trfm.com.au ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Competition Period Entries open: Monday, April 16, 2018 at 11.00am Entries close: Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 2.00pm Winner Drawn: Saturday, June 16 at 11.00am

Entry Method Over the above promotional period we will be conducting an Outside Broadcast from 11am-2pm Sunday to Friday, 10am - 1pm on Saturday at various locations throughout our service area (please see attached list) except for Wednesday 25th of April we will broadcast live from 1 - 4pm.

Listeners will be encouraged to attend the outside broadcasts and to fill out a common entry form giving the chance to be a daily winner.

Each Outside Broadcast will conclude at 2.00pm Sunday to Friday and Saturday at 1.00pm a daily winner will be drawn at random on the following day.

Each day Monday to Sunday between 7.00am - 9.00am an ACE Radio Representative will select and call a random daily winner from the entries collected the previous day to play the “50K Countdown” on air. If the entrant does not answer the initial phone call, the promoter will automatically put the daily winner into the draw for the final jackpot amount. The call diverting to message bank does not constitute being answered.

One entry will be drawn per day from pool of entries collected during the previous day's outside broadcast.

The cash jackpot will commence at $50,000 on the first day of the Competition Period and will decrease by $500.00 each time the entrant does select the cash option. Once an entrant selects the instant cash option, the jackpot will decrease by $500 each day.

Once the entrant has selected an option, this option is binding and cannot be reversed.

Once selected as a daily winner either for cash or jackpot amount at the final draw date, That entrant can no longer be selected as a daily winner throughout the competition.

Listeners may only enter ONCE per outside broadcast and in order for the entry form to be deemed valid it must be completed in full. Should a listener enter more than once in the draw, their entries will be deemed invalid.

Inaudible, incomplete, incomprehensible entries (whichever is applicable) will not be eligible and will be disqualified. The promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry which in the opinion of the promoter includes any content which may be unlawful, profane, inflammatory, defamatory and/or damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the promoter.

Any person who is discovered to have used or attempted to use more than one name in entering the promotion will be disqualified from participating in the promotion and/or redeeming a prize.

Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotion period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.

Conditions of entry Cash prizes will be transferred to the recipient within 14 days of providing sufficient ID and Bank Details. All prizes are non transferable and non exchangeable. The winner must show photo identification in the form of the following in order to pick up the prize:

● Drivers License ● Proof of age card ● Current Passport ● Defence Force Identification Card

The prize will only be given to the winner on supply of adequate identification to an ACE Radio staff member.

The Promoter and their affiliates shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter and their affiliates will not enter into correspondence regarding the competition result.

Winners must be over the age of 18 or in the case they are under this age – they must have a parent or guardian present at the draw who will act as a proxy – both the proxy and the minor must show ID at the time of the draw. If they should win, the prize will be automatically awarded to the parent or guardian acting as the proxy. No further correspondence will be entered into.

All entrants give ACE Radio Broadcasters permission to also advertise that they have won the major prize or voucher and the details of the prizes that they have won – including costs.

Any tax payable as a result of a prize being awarded or received will be the responsibility of the winner. Winners should seek independent financial advice prior to accepting a prize if this is a concern.

Grand Draw The Grand Draw will be held on Saturday, June 16 at 11am at 11 Coonoc Road, Traralgon, , 3844.

Each finalist in the draw for the remaining amount will select an envelope in the order of which they became a finalist, inside the envelope will be a code to a safe. Once each finalist has selected an envelope, they will come up in order of their envelop number and attempt to open the safe using their code.

The code that opens the safe will be deemed the winner. All entrants must produce a satisfactory piece of identification on the day of the Grand Draw in order for a TRFM/GOLD representative to be adequately satisfied that they are the person that has filled in the competition entry form.

Proxy Details If a “Jackpot Finalist” cannot attend the Grand Draw they may nominate a proxy on their behalf. If the winner does not provide a proxy TRFM/GOLD 1242 will provide the proxy. A written letter of authority will be required from any person that chooses to nominate a proxy. In the case that a person who has been nominated as a proxy is the winner, the jackpot amount will be awarded to be the original winning recipient.
