Summary of forthcoming bus service changes in South Gloucestershire Christmas & New Year service information On Monday 24th December 2019 services in South Gloucestershire will not be departing after midnight. There will be NO services running on Christmas Day/ Christmas & New Year service information can be found at travelwest.info/christmas2019 or travelwest.info/newyear2019 First Bus will be operating a number of special timetables on Boxing Day and New Year’s Days, the timetables for these services can be found on the First Bus Website.

Service Change 5th January 2020 Service 1 – First Bus (Cribbs Causeway – Henbury – Westbury – Bristol Centre – Broomhill) Monday to Friday off-peak frequency is reduced from every 12 minutes to every 15 minutes, no change to route or other days of operation. Service 2 – First Bus (Cribbs Causeway – Brentry – Southmead - Bristol Centre - Stockwood) Monday to Friday off-peak frequency is reduced from every 12 minutes to every 15 minutes, no change to route or other days of operation. Service 18 – First Bus (Cribbs Causeway – Bristol Parkway – UWE Frenchay – Kingswood – Keynsham – Bath Centre) service renumbered from 19A, no change to the existing route, service will operate every 60 minutes Monday to Saturday, last departures will be around 1830 from Bath Bus Station and around 2000 from Cribbs Causeway. Service 19 – First Bus (Cribbs Causeway – Bristol Parkway – UWE Frenchay – Kingswood – Cadbury Heath - Bitton – Bath Centre) service will operate every 60 minutes at peak times Monday to Friday and all day Sundays and Public Holidays. Service will not operate Monday to Friday off peak or Saturdays. A number of early morning and early evening journeys have been revised, Service will additionally serve Penn Lead Road in Bath on Sundays and Public Holidays, no change to frequency of route Sundays and Public Holidays. Service 19A – First Bus (Cribbs Causeway – Bristol Parkway – UWE Frenchay – Kingswood – Keynsham – Bath Centre) this service is renumbered to service 18, see service 18 for more details. Service 42 & 42A – First Bus (Bristol Centre – Kingswood – Oldland Common - Bitton) some peak journeys between Kingsway and Rupert Street/Nelson Street have been removed, no change to route or other days of operation. Service 44 & 44A – First (Cadbury Heath – Hanham – Bristol Centre) some peak journeys between Kingsway and Rupert Street/Nelson Street have been removed, no change to route or other days of operation. Service 70 – First Bus (UWE Frenchay Campus – Filton – Ashley Down – Bristol Centre) Monday to Friday off-peak frequency is reduced from every 15 minutes to every 20 minutes, no change to route or other days of operation. Service 71 – First Bus (UWE Frenchay Campus – Filton – Bristol Centre – UWE Bower Ashton Campus) Monday to Friday off-peak frequency is reduced from every 15 minutes to every 20 minutes, no change to route or other days of operation. Service 75 – First Bus (Cribbs Causeway – Patchway – Filton – Bristol Centre - Hengrove) Monday to Friday off-peak and Saturday daytime frequency is reduced from every 12 minutes to every 15 minutes, rest of timetable amended but no change to route. Service 76 – First Bus (Cribbs Causeway/Henbury – Southmead – Bristol Centre - Hengrove) Monday to Friday off-peak and Saturday daytime frequency is reduced from every 12 minutes to every 15 minutes, all journeys will now operate via the hospital grounds at Southmead Hospital using stop E towards Henbury / Cribbs Causeway and stop H toward City Centre / Hengrove. Due to the change of route Green Road bus stops will not be served. Service m1 – CT Plus/First Bus (Cribbs Causeway – UWE Frenchay Campus – Bristol Centre – Hengrove Park) Monday to Friday frequency of between Hengrove Park and Cribbs Causeway will now be every 15 minutes. However, during the morning and afternoon peaks, the frequency of buses between the City Centre and Patchway Brook will be increased to every 7-8 minutes, with some of these journeys starting and terminating at Parson Street Station. The above means there will be more buses at peak times between the City Centre and Patchway Brook. On Saturdays buses will operate every 20 minutes throughout the route. There are no changes to the frequency of buses on Sundays and Public Holidays. Service m3 & m3x – First Bus (Emersons Green – UWE (m3 only) – Bristol Centre) Monday to Friday off peak and all day on Saturday the frequency of buses will be reduced from every 20 minutes to every 30 minutes, no change to route or other days of operation. Service SEV Severn Express – Stagecoach (Newport – Chepstow – Bristol Bus Station) all journeys will now be Chepstow to Bristol direct via M32, service will not serve Aust or Cribbs Causeway. Timetable amended on all days of operation. Service X5 – Stagecoach (Cribbs Causeway – Portishead – Clevedon – W-s-M) timetable amended on all days of operation but frequency remains unchanged, no change of route.

Service Change 16th November 2019 Service 462 – Stagecoach (Lyde Green – Emersons Green – Bromley Heath – Bristol Centre – Temple Meads/Tyndall’s Park) change of operator from South Gloucestershire Bus and Coach to Stagecoach. Change of route on afternoon journeys to serve Queensholm Drive and Four Acre Road to mirror morning route. Service 680 – Stagecoach (North Yate – Chipping Sodbury – Yate - Coalpit Health – Frenchay Campus – Filton College) change of operator from South Gloucestershire Bus and Coach to Stagecoach, no change to the route or timetable. Service 922 – Stagecoach (Millbury Heath – Falfield – Leyhill – Cromhall – Tytherington – Castle School) change of operator from South Gloucestershire Bus and Coach to Stagecoach, no change to the route or timetable. Service 924 – Stagecoach (Hallen – Easter Compton – Pilning School) change of operator from South Gloucestershire Bus and Coach to Stagecoach, no change to the route or timetable. Service 948 – Stagecoach (Pucklechurch – Emersons Green – Mangotsfield School – Digitech Studio School - Sir Bernard Lovell School) change of operator from South Gloucestershire Bus and Coach to Stagecoach, no change to the route or timetable. Service 963 – Stagecoach (Patchway – Bradley Stoke – Stoke Gifford – Winterbourne Academy) change of operator from South Gloucestershire Bus and Coach to Stagecoach, no change to the route or timetable.
