Informationen Zu Verscio/ Terre Di Pedemonte Und Natur Informationen zu Verscio/ Terre di Pedemonte und Natur Botanische Exkursion Verscio / Einführung in unsere Region Herzlich willkommen im schönen Centovalli, dazu gehören auch die drei Comunen Tegna, Verscio und Cavigliano, neu ab 2013 fusioniert als Terre di Pedemonte. Von Ponte Brolla bis zur Grenze sind es 15 km und der Fluss der unsere Region durchfliesst ist die Melezza, sie entspringt in Pioda di Crana 2430 m oberhalb St. Maria Maggiore, im Valle Vigezzo wo der Fluss Melezzo heisst. Ab Intragna/Golino fliesst der Isorno aus dem Valle Onsernone noch in die Melezza und beide ergiessen sich etwas oberhalb von Ponte Brolla in die Maggia und diese bei Locarno in den Lago Maggiore. Unser Dorf wird auch von der Centovalli Bahn geprägt, diese wurde am 1923 eingeweiht. Dieser Zug verbindet seither das Tessin direkt mit der französischen Schweiz. Wichtig auch für die Studenten die in Lausanne studieren und am Wochenende immer ins TI heim kommen. Centovalli bedeutet ja so viel wie hundert Täler, es sind nicht ganz so viele aber genug. Die Bahnfahrt von Locarno bis Domodossola ist 52 km lang und dauert wegen der vielen Kurven 1 ½ Stunden. Das ganze Gebiet ist ein sehr schönes Wandergebiet und die Infrastruktur in den Terre di Pedemonte ist ebenfalls sehr gut, wir haben alles im Dorf vom Kindergarten, Schule, Arzt, Homöopath, Kirche, eine feine Bäckerei, Theater Dimitri, diverse Beizen, Grottos und sogar einen Tennisplatz und eine schöne Natur. Botanische Infos zum Kanton Tessin: Das gesamte Tessin ist ein reicher Naturkanton, 80 % sind von Bergen bedeckt und ganze 50 % des Gebiets des Kantons sind Wald. Ausserdem findet man 200 Alp/ Gebirgsseen, 200 Höhlen und ganze 49 Bergspitzen die über 3000 m hoch sind und hunderte von Gipfeln und 50 Gletscher. Das Tessin beherbergt auf seiner Fläche als 5 grösster Kanton der Schweiz, neben dem Wallis das aber doppelt so gross ist wie der Tessin, die zweitmeisten Pflanzen der Schweiz. Auch botanisch ist der Tessin und auch die Gegend des zukünftigen Parco nazionale sehr speziell und selten und zwar weltweit einzigartig. In einer Linie von nur 35 km Luftlinie gibt es eine Flora vom mediterranen subtropischen Klima bis hinauf zum Basodino bzw. Ghiridone / eine vergleichbare Vegetation wie in der Ebene in Alaska. parconazionale.ch/index.php?lang=de Weltweit gibt es etwa 400.000 Arten davon sind 300.000 Pflanzen die blühen und in Europa gibt es ca. 11.000 Arten. In der Schweiz gibt es 40.000 Tierarten und ca. 3000 Pflanzen und Farne inkl. Blütenpflanzen. Plus 5000 Pilze und Mikropilze. Von den 3000 Pflanzen sind ca. 350 sog, Neofiten, die erst ab dem 15 Jahrhunderte auftauchten, davon sind wiederum ca. 10% ca. 35 Pflanzen invasive Neofiten. Im Tessin findet man 1900 Pflanzen wobei es 52 Arten gibt die es nur im TI gibt. Davon wiederum 34 nur in den Alpen Die Tessiner Flora beherbergt damit 1/6 der europäischen Pflanzenvielfalt. Und das auf einer Kantonsfläche die nur 6,8 % der Schweiz ausmacht. Italien ist in Europa das Land mit der grössten Pflanzenvielfalt mit über 6700 Arten.     Signore e Signori buongiorno e benvenuti a Verscio, villaggio centrale del Comune di Terre di Pedemonte Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren herzlich willkommen in Verscio. Terre di Pedemonte é un Comune a vocazione residenziale, a 5 km dalla Città di Locarno ma già immerso nel verde, la cui popolazione di circa 2'800.- abitanti si compone principalmente di famiglie con bambini in età scolastica che vivono in villette di proprietà. Le Terre di Pedemonte sono sempre piaciute anche a varie personalità della cultura, spesso provenienti da altri luoghi e già affermate che qui hanno trovato il luogo dove vivere, dove rilassarsi e maturare nuove idee da poi proporre al loro grande pubblico. Vorrei citare a titolo di esempio, e senza essere esaustivo, alcune persone ormai scomparse: la scrittrice Patricia Highsmith, il pittore Fritz Pauli, lo scultore Friedrich Brüderlin, il curatore e critico d’arte Harald Szeemann, il vignettista del Tages Anzeiger Mike Van Audenhove. Ancora oggi vari artisti, storici, letterati vivono nel nostro territorio. Tra tutte queste persone di cultura, colui che più di tutti ha legato il proprio nome ai nostri luoghi è stato naturalmente il clown Dimitri, purtroppo scomparso nel 2016. Wir schätzen es sehr das Dimitri vor vielen Jahren sich in unsere Gegenden verliebt hat, sodass er zuerst das Teatro gründete und danach die Schule, deren Wachstum bis zur wohlverdienten Angliederung an die Fachhochschulen „Scuola Universitaria Professionale della Svizzera Italiana“ (SUPSI) brachte. Ich glaube es gibt erst seltene kleine Gemeinde in denen eine bestimmte Fach einer Fachhochschule ihr Hauptsitz hat. Die Accademia Dimitri, das Teatro Dimitri und die Stiftung Dimitri bilden zusammen eine Einheit die wir liebevoll “il Mondo Dimitri” nennen, eine Kulturelle Kostbarkeit wofür wir stolz sein müssen.
