BY JUSTINE THOMPSON Justine Thompson, daughter of Malcolm and Susan Thompson and Andrew Barone, the son of Terry and Linda Barone, were married on June 25, 2016, at the Midtown Loft & Terrace on Fifth Avenue in New York City.

Justine and Andrew met in college running cross- country and track together. Upon graduation Justine took a job with USA Track & Field traveling the Eastern part of the country and Andrew went back home to Parsippany, New Jersey to pursue his career in construction. With time Justine ended up in NYC and the two started their romantic journey at a pizzeria in Brooklyn.

Three years later, at that same pizzeria, Andrew got down on one knee and proposed to Justine.

The ceremony took place on a modern rooftop in the Flatiron District. Justine walked down the aisle in a Nicole Miller dress. Andrew wore a tuxedo that Justine’s brother had custom made in Thailand. The reception was held in the open loft space below. The theme of the wedding was under the stars.

The night was unlike any other wedding, and much more a friendly gathering then a formal wedding. Ever since I was a child, I used to save up to go watch the movie that everyone was anticipating. Going to the theater with my popcorn and sit there for two hours enjoying the show. At that time, it never came to my mind the amount of work that goes into making such a piece of entertainment. and even when I grew up I still didn’t think much of us, I always thought it is just some rich actors who wants to be on screen all the time so they find a way to make a film. But my recent participation in the film festival opened my eyes to the tremendous amount of effort and preparation that goes into making a single film. I got a sneak peek into the process that goes from script writing, location scouting, auditions, camera selections, lighting, makeup, outfits and so on. And I discovered the hidden meaning why those people go through the effort of making a film. Everyone has a message,

The 48 hour film project opens a huge chance to all film makers and actors, old and neophytes alike in the field of cinematography. This project enables me to meet good and amazing people not just a co actors and workers but as a family. I am very proud to meet them and made my first ever experience in portraying a role in a short movie with them. The main door is designed with the "MJWWT" logo. Michael loved this logo design which is a KENJI original. Mi- chael dreamed that when the door opened, a variety of performances from around the world would start. Kenji referred to the Baroque style that Mi- chael chose as the design element around the gates. Kenji designed an ornament of “Bubbles”, Michael’s favorite pet, to be in the middle of the gate. Michael told Kenji with a big smile, “He used to use my toilet!” and laughed. Each side of the gate is a ‘Jumbotron’, developed by SONY, to project many kinds of animals. Michael had much respect for Mr. Morita, the Chairman of SONY at that time. “I drew this image because Mi- chael had said, “we definitely must place Jumbotrons on the walls!”, says Kenji.

Michael said, "This ice skating rink emerges with light in the night. There are a great number of small lights here and the world is filled with light. A lot of fireworks should be shot into the air. How about this idea, the logo can become visible under the skating rink?"

As you can see, numerous fireworks are shooting up into the night sky, a Christ- mas Tree with magnificent lighting in the center, with a fountain set on a pedestal of elephants. Michael for some reason is very particular about having a Christmas tree, fountain, and fireworks.
