One of the leading economics firms in , Economics, opens its third self-standing office in Brussels. With the recruitment of DG Competition senior expert, Dr Adina Claici, the firm establishes an author- itative team focusing on competition and damage claim cases.

Copenhagen Economics’ founding Partner, Dr Claus Kastberg Nielsen, relocates to Brussels to head the office. The expansion is corollary of the firm’s international strategy and follows a number of strong recruitments during the past year. Latest Dr Adina Claici, who has significant and broad experience with all types of competition cases as a former Senior Member of the Chief Economist Team at DG Competition.

The Brussels team offers economics consultancy services within mergers, anti-trust, state aid, and damage claims. Initially, the team will comprise six experts who will be complemented case-by-case by experts from the Copenhagen and branches of Copenhagen Economics. The firm draws upon strong sector experience from digital services, financial services, transport, trade, postal and delivery, energy and climate, IP, health, and mining.

Today, Copenhagen Economics employs 28 specialized competition experts who work from the three offices in Brussels, Copenhagen, and Stockholm. The Brussels office is located at Place Stéphanie, Avenue Louise 54, Brussels.
