Dear Congressman Cummings:
On behalf of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), I am responding to your August 8, 2017, letter requesting information on expenditures by the NRC on products or services provided by businesses owned by or affiliated with the Trump Organization.
In response to your four specific requests for documents, the NRC searched its acquisition and employee travel databases and did not identify any relevant documentation. As a result, we are not aware of any instance of NRC expenditure of Federal funds on products or services from the Trump Organization, any business in which the Trump Organization has an ownership stake, or any business with which the Trump Organization has any licensing agreement or similar contractual relationship. We also have not identified any NRC expenditures related to the President’s trust or associated with any travel undertaken by any member of the Trump family to promote a business in which the Trump Organization has any ownership stake, licensing agreement, or similar contractual arrangement.
