Parabéns! Residen al Summer Camp @ Phoebe Needles

Since its beginning in 1999, we have served more than 200 young people each summer using a staff of 10 to 12 college aged counselors. In many ways the developmental experiences have as profound an impact on the staff as they do on the campers. We seek to make the camp available to all young people without regard to their ability to pay. Our camp fee for 2019 is $225 per camper. This includes six days and fi ve nights of a residen al camp, all meals, program supplies and Summer 2019 Schedule ac vity fees. hƩ ps://www.phoebeneedles.org

The Lighter Side

My Dad Makes Big Money

Three boys are in the school yard brag- ging about their fathers. The fi rst boy says, ‘My Dad scribbles a few words on a piece of paper, he calls it a poem, they give him $50.’

The second boy says, ‘That’s nothing. My Dad scribbles a few words on piece of paper, he calls it a song, they give him $100.’

The third boy says, ‘I got you both beat. My Dad scribbles a few words on a piece of paper, he calls it a sermon, and it takes eight people to collect all the money!’ SERVICE CALENDAR – June 2019 Readings Lector Chalice Altar Guild Acolyte Children’s Chapel

SAINT PETER’S PRAYER & CARE TEAM

We have included in the Prayers of the People at each Sunday’s worship service the names of those people in need of prayer that you have made known to the church. As a way of keeping those names before us in prayer, we are going to begin a Prayer Chain at Saint Peter’s. This will be a group of people who are willing to commit to praying for each person on our prayer list on a daily basis. The Prayer Chain will also be responsible for upda ng the list, wri ng occasional notes to those in our prayers, and relaying needs that might be met by the congrega on. If the group once formed desires to meet on occasion for prayer and discussion that is a pos- sibility as well. Juanita Custer has off ered to coordinate the group. Anyone is welcome to be a part of this group. Please let Juanita ([email protected]) know if you would like to par cipate in this group.
