• Restructured the project as an Belgian-Irish co-production. • Oversaw all production and VFX ($3M+VFX budget). • Completed the packaging of the project and negotiated all talent and crew contracts. • Invested 20% of the budget via the Umedia Equity Fund, with additional finance from the Umedia Tax Shelter Fund, with 50% total structured finance. • Led on the financial closing with Ingenious. • Secured the Irish production partner. • Advanced the pre-production finance. • Managing final delivery and responsible to the completion bond.

My associate, Nadia Khamlichi and I, have strived to build a company that is a fun place to work as well as a well-oiled, efficient organisation. A corporation with soul and heart incarnated by passion " for both cinema and entrepreneurship. Every morning, I wake up driven by these two passions and looking forward to be working with a smiling and stellar team.
Beyond passion, fun and efficiency, you can expect two important modus operandi working with Umedia. Firstly, we work without ego. We have made mistakes and we have owned up to these and learned valuable lessons. And as we go forward, we are also prone to make mistakes. If ever we make any, we will tackle them, by facing them in transparency and with accountability. Secondly, we have built Umedia, since its inception 13 years ago, with a long-term vision; we seek to collaborate in a manner where there is a true win-win, so as to create a long-term, mutually beneficial relation.
I have wanted to work in films since the age of 16. I am grateful to be living my dream. I have seized all the opportunities presented to me and tried to make most of them. However, a lot of people in the world are not presented with the same opportunities. We are the happy few. And it is both Nadia’s and my conviction that Umedia has to play a larger role in society by having a positive impact on many souls.
To sum it up, we believe that in business, as in life, the way you do anything, is the way you do everything.
