SEVEN FROM SUNDAY – WEEK 2

A look at seven statistical highlights from games played at 1:00 p.m. ET and 4:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 20, the second week of the 2015 season.

 Arizona rookie DAVID JOHNSON had a 108-yard kickoff-return and a 13-yard touchdown run in the Cardinals’ 48-23 win at Chicago. Johnson, who had a 55-yard touchdown reception last week in his NFL debut, is the first player in NFL history with a rushing touchdown, receiving touchdown and kickoff-return touchdown in his first two games to begin a career.

Johnson’s 108-yard kickoff-return touchdown is tied for the second-longest in NFL history and is the longest touchdown in franchise history.

He is the first Cardinals player to have a kickoff-return touchdown and a rushing touchdown in the same game since Pro Football Hall of Famer on December 13, 1958.

of Tampa Bay and of Cleveland each led his team to a victory today. Winston, who won the 2013 , guided the Buccaneers to a 26-19 win at New Orleans. Manziel, who was awarded the Heisman Trophy in 2012, piloted the Browns to a 28-14 victory over Tennessee.

Today marked the first time in NFL history that two Heisman-winning quarterbacks each earned his first career win on the same day.

 New England passed for 466 yards with three and no for a 105.6 in the Patriots’ 40-32 win at Buffalo. Brady, who has 754 passing yards with seven touchdowns and no interceptions this season, joins (2013) as the only players in NFL history to pass for at least 750 yards and seven touchdowns with no interceptions in the first two games of a season.

 Carolina quarterback threw two touchdown passes and rushed for a TD in the Panthers’ 24-17 win over Houston. It marked the 25th time in his career that Newton has had both a passing and rushing touchdown in the same game, the second-most in NFL history (Pro Football Hall of Famer STEVE YOUNG, 31).

Newton reached 25 such performances in his 64th career game, the fastest in NFL history. Young accomplished it in 146 games.

 Pittsburgh quarterback completed 21 of 27 passes (77.8 percent) for 369 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions for a 155.8 passer rating in the Steelers’ 43-18 win against San Francisco. Roethlisberger earned his 107th win as a regular- season starter, tying Pro Football Hall of Famer for the most by a quarterback in franchise history.

Steelers ANTONIO BROWN had nine catches for 195 yards with one touchdown. Brown, who has 408 career catches, reached 400 receptions in his 72nd career game, tying Pro Football Hall of Famer as the third-fastest player in NFL history to reach the milestone. Only ANQUAN BOLDIN (67) and LARRY FITZGERALD (71) reached 400 catches in fewer games.

 Cleveland’s TRAVIS BENJAMIN had three catches for 115 yards with two touchdowns (60 and 50 yards) and added a 78-yard punt-return touchdown in the Browns’ win. Benjamin joins TAVON AUSTIN (November 13, 2013) as the only players in NFL history with a 75+ yard punt-return touchdown and two 50+ yard touchdown catches in the same game.

Benjamin, who had a 54-yard touchdown catch in Week 1, is the first NFL player with four 50+ yard touchdowns in the first two games of a season since Pro Football Hall of Famer in 1963.

 Tennessee rookie quarterback passed for 257 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions for a 96.3 passer rating in the Titans’ loss at Cleveland. Mariota, who had four touchdown passes in his NFL debut on Kickoff Weekend, now has six touchdown passes, the most by any NFL player in his first two career games.

Through Week 2, Mariota has completed 34 of 53 passes (64.2 percent) for 466 yards with six touchdowns and no interceptions for a 129.9 passer rating, the highest rating by any -era quarterback (since 1966) in his first two career starts.
