Texas Public Schools Week March 2 – March 6, 2020 Schedule of Events

Early Childhood Center March 2-March 6 - Book Fair March 2 – “My Many Colored Days” – Students and staff are encouraged to wear bright in honor of Dr. Seuss March 3 – “Texas Tuesday” – Students may wear western attire; Open House 6 – 7 p.m. March 4 – “College Day” – Students may wear favorite college March 5 – “Career Day” & “Chili Cook-Off” - Students may up in attire from their career of choice; March 6 – “Cat in the Day” – Students are encouraged to wear a hat in honor of Dr. Seuss; “Family Picnic Day” - Parents invited to join their child’s class for an outside picnic

Primary School March 2 – March 6 – Book Fair March 2 – Hall Decorating Contest March 3 – Pastries with Parents 7 – 7:45 a.m. March 5 – PTO Meeting 5:45 p.m. & Open House 6 p.m. March 6 – Best Vest Contest for students and Parade at lunch for participants

Elementary School February 27 – March 6: Book Fair March 2: Open House 6 – 7 p.m. March 3: “Terrific Future Tuesday” – Students may dress as a “Future” Profession; I Need a Vacation” Performance (9:15 a.m.) March 4: “Wonderful College Wednesday” – Students may wear their favorite college attire; “I Need a Vacation” Performance (9:15 a.m.) March 5: “Team Champion Thursday” – Students may wear their favorite team attire; “I Need a Vacation” Performance (9:15 a.m.) March 6: “Fantastic Texan Friday” – Students may dress as a famous Texan or Cowgirl/Cowboy; 4th grade Texas Historical Figures Parade & Presentation (8:15 a.m.)

Intermediate School March 2 – 6: Book Fair March 2 – Crazy Sunglasses Day March 3 – Crazy Hat Day

March 4 – College Attire Day March 5 – Red, White & Blue Day; Open House 6-7 p.m. March 6 – Spirit Day – Students may wear their favorite team attire

Junior High School March 2 – “Texas Public School’s Week Kick-Off” – Wear your favorite Texas cowboy attire March 3 – “Hat Day” – Wear your favorite hat March 4 – “College Spirit Day” – Students may wear College T-Shirt or March 5 – Parents/Guardians invited to campus to have lunch with their student; students can wear red, white and blue March 6 – “Hawaiian/Fishing Shirt” – Students may wear their favorite Hawaiian or fishing shirt

High School March 2 –Parents are invited to visit Math classes; High School Open House: Spring Showcase 5:30-7 p.m. March 3 – Parents are invited to visit Science classes March 4 – Parents are invited to visit English classes; “Show your College Spirit” – students and staff wear their favorite college March 5 – Parents are invited to visit Social Studies classes March 6 – Parents are invited to visit elective classes; “Show your School Spirit” - students and staff wear their Flour Bluff spirit wear
