Incepted in the year 2008, with a mission to promote self-awareness among the youth, Prayas is an organization which believes in creating responsible Youth who will build of tomorrow.

• To promote education as well computer literacy in remote areas.

• To aid in youth personality development and provide career counseling.

Brahmagiri, is a mountain range in the of . It is situated in in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple is located near this place. The origin of the sacred is near . The Godavari originates 80 kilometres (50 mi) from the Arabian Sea in the Western Ghats of central India near Trimbakeshwar in Maharashtra. It flows for 1,465 kilometres (910 mi), first eastwards across the then turns southeast, entering the and of Andhra Pradesh, until it splits into two watercourses that widen into a large river delta and flow into the Bay of Bengal.

Bramhagiri is one of the famous historical place in Nasik. Hundreds of people visit this place every day. But even after the government plans, waste management (especially plastic water bottles, food wrappers and plastic bags) is a huge issue due to its wasteful and excessive use by people and difficulty in recycling of this material. So to make our environment clean and spread awareness about cleanliness Prayas Youth Forum and Social Research Foundation rd undertook an activity of Cleaning Bramhagiri on 3 of July 2016. This was a small initiative of Prayas towards Clean India. The aim was to make Bramhagiri plastic free. Though it was not possible to remove plastic completely but total 45 kg of plastic waste was collected and properly dumped by Prayasians.

“Books give a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the

imagination and life to everything”

A book donation campaign was conducted by volunteers of „Prayas Youth Forum and Social Research Foundation‟ from „K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education & Research, Nashik‟. The event was held on the occasion of „Independence Day‟ at Peth taluka, Nashik. A total of 1200 books was donated to 5 schools in Peth. Books were donated in the presence of Shri. Mahesh Tople (Vice Chairman, Peth), Shrim. Tambekar Madam (Assistant Block Development Officer), Shri. Khairnar Sir (Extension Officer), Panchayat Samiti, Peth, Tal. Peth, Dist. Nashik. They guided the students for their bright future.

The event was a great success because of help from FINIQ CONSULTING INDIA Pvt. Ltd and G. E. S. H. A. L. High school E. M. Ozarmig, Nashik. The event was guided by Principal Dr. K. N. Nandurkar and Prof. N. B. Gurule of K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education & Research, Nashik.

“The best donation is giving hope”. The students of rural areas where gifted with a hope of books by Prayas Youth Forum.
