• Near Gangapur Road MTDC’s Kalagram is Situated. Kalagram is Based on Delhi Bazar Hat. To boost Local Tourism, handikraft, Food, employment in nashik is the main purpose of Kalagram. The Construction work is in progress.

A) Bed & Brekfast Scheme • is a land of tourism opportunities. In order to provide clean and affordable accommodation and food facility for tourists, MTDC has launched the scheme. It is based on paying guest concept (similar to Home stay), along with stay, one can also get local cuisine, especially local delicacies in affordable prices. • The main objective of this scheme is to create a wide network of affordable stays at lesser known places of tourist interest thus creating an experience to cherish. • One can find all types of rooms from basic to luxury, based on the amenities provided inside the rooms and variety of food available. • Currently 176 houses/bungalows are registered under this scheme across Nashik Division. In 131, – 38, Nandurbar- 4, Dhule- 2 & Jalgaon -1. • Basic Documents Like owenrs adress proof, charactor certificate from Local Police, Lightbill, Gharapatti, Property details, Photos of Owner And property etc, Are required for registration. • Rs. 5000/- Registraion Fees charged for 5 years of registration.

• Many farmers and local enterprisers have been implementing different experimental projects in tourism sector. This involves Agri-tourism, village tourism, food tourism, educational tours, nature tours, social tourism, fishing, safaris, Tribal lifestyles, arts, handicrafts, etc. • Taking into consideration these changing trends, MTDC has launched the scheme of Mahabhraman, to bring these projects under one roof. The main objective of this scheme is to encourage people from various sectors to provide a unique experience to the tourists, help them in marketing and promote these projects. • Tourists get to learn and experience different activities like planting, fruits and vegetables plucking, bullock cart ride etc in agri-tourism, local cuisine, costumes, festivals and other activities in village tourism, experiencing the tribal lifestyles, local arts and handicrafts, meet crocodiles in safaris, study pearl culture, learn horse riding or just rejuvenate yourself in health and wellness centers. These projects generally have a one day or two day packages with quality accommodation and food facilities. • In nashik Division 10 Projects are registered under Mahabhraman Scheme.

Agro Tourism • Agritourism or agrotourism, as it is defined most broadly, involves any agriculturalry based operation or activity that brings visitors to a Farmar. • Agritourism has different definitions in different parts of the world, and sometimes refers specifically to farm Stays. • Agritourism includes a wide variety of activities, including buying produce direct from a farm stand, navigating a Corn maze, slopping hogs, picking fruit, feeding animals, or staying at a bed and breakfast (B&B) on a farm. • In Nashik Many Farmers involved in agro tourism . • Sahyadri farm is the leading example of agro Tourism in Nashik. They manage a spa’s finances, employees, and services. Many of the tasks are business-related and can include recordkeeping, getting involved in promotional campaigns, maintaining stock inventories, and payroll management. 4) TOUR OPERATOR - A Tour Operator typically combines tour and travel components to create holiday packages. He or she will deal with various service providers, including bus operators, airlines and hoteliers. • Tour Operators prepare itineraries for various destinations and will often monitor trends in popular destinations in order to put together attractive holiday packages for clients. Tour Operators mainly deal with Travel Agents, while Travel Agents deal with the public.

5) EVENT & CONFERENCE ORGANISER - Organising any event or conference is time consuming, so an Event and Conference Organiser will help with the finer details of planning an event. The role is hands-on and often involves working as part of a bigger team. Event and Conference Organisers co-ordinate every detail of meetings and conferences, from the speakers and meeting locations to the printed materials and audio-visual equipment. • 6) TOUR GUIDE - Tour Guides work in the travel industry, and give guided tours to groups of visitors/tourists. He or she is a highly trained and knowledgeable wine professional, specialising in all aspects of wine service. Five-star restaurants will often employ a Sommelier to develop their wine list and to help customers find a wine within their budget that suits their tastes and complements their food. • 9) PR MANAGER - A PR Manager manages a brand’s reputation, and will plan, develop, and implement specific strategies to build and maintain the overall brand and reputation. In the Tourism and Hospitality environment, a PR Manager might work for a hotel chain, a cruise company. • 10) LEISURE ACTIVITY CO-ORDINATOR - usually work for resorts and hotel chains. They’re the people on the ground who make sure that any planned activities run smoothly. They’re also responsible for every aspect of the day-to-day management of a leisure centre, organising health and fitness programmes, promoting and marketing the business, and interacting with guests.
