We will take you to any out of town MEDICAL appointment, for example Victoria, Nanaimo, Campbell River that exceeds 60 KM (one way) from your point of departure. Cost? Donations appreciated Booking? If you are physically handicapped, we will need to know well in advance in order to provide an adequate vehicle. This includes the requirement to take a walker. SOS MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION SUPPORT When? SOS volunteer drivers offer safe and courteous transportation for community residents to and from medical appointments, within District 69. Medical appointments may include family doctor, dentist and physio therapy. The program is available from Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and is subject to volunteer driver availability.
