Solihull Integrated Addiction Service (SIAS) is a partnership of organisations working together to support people struggling with alcohol, drugs or gambling achieve positive change.

Volunteers play an important part in this support and SIAS is encouraging more volunteers to come forward.

Gemma has been a peer mentor volunteer for nine months and is now employed by SIAS as a recovery coach. She explains: “I have received help from SIAS for my addiction so I know what it is like to be in that dark place. Becoming a volunteer was my chance to give back and be there for new people coming through. Be a volunteer like Gemma
