On viewing, we were impressed with its size, layout and the amount of available internal space, together its standing on a large parcel of land in this beautiful rural setting - all of which fulfilled our requirements. It has been such a brilliant home for ourselves and our three children. We came to live here nearly twelve years ago. We have found the house to be an exceptional family home for us, with lots of areas to pursue individual hobbies and pastimes, alongside comfort and luxury. Set back from the road our house is not overlooked and we enjoy an amazing outlook over spectacular countryside. We have converted the garage to create a large utility room, added effective security gates and, very importantly, created a large office space which has enabled us both to work from home. Living in this fabulous, rural and beautiful, setting has given us the happiest of times – bringing up our three boys here. We will feel extremely sad when we say goodbye to this brilliant family home, but our children have flown the nest and we are going to live in southern Europe. The village is quiet and peaceful but with excellent, friendly, pubs and restaurants. We are also close to Dorridge, Lapworth and Henley in Arden and, it is just a few minutes into Solihull. In addition, we enjoy ease of access to motorways for journeys to all parts of the land. Birmingham International Airport is also within easy reach. There is a wide and outstanding choice of schools and colleges in the area, together with opportunities to pursue sport and leisure activities. Our spacious garden provides lots of space for relaxation with areas created to sit in the sunshine or shade. It was also ideal when our children were growing up as there was so much space for them to play in freedom and safety. Our home has a natural, welcoming, ambience, and with such excellent spaces, both inside and out, plus ample parking, we have hosted many parties and celebrations for Christmas, New Year and birthdays.”* * These comments are the personal views of the current owner and are included as an insight into life at the property.
