Global Outlook – The Magazine of 9/11 Truth A Note to the Reader How would you solve the greatest (unsolved) crime of all time, if you were Sherlock Holmes, English literature’s most famous detective, and one of the most ingenious characters ever created? Described by his partner, Dr. John H. Watson, as “patriotic, courageous, tenacious and loyal, with the mind of a computer, Holmes appeared to know every detail of every horror perpetrated in the past century.” Imagine if Sherlock Holmes (and his trusty partner Dr. Watson) were called upon, in modern times, to help solve the Dr. John H. Watson crime of 9/11. unsolved Watson: “Holmes, why do you say 9/11 is the greatest crime of all time?” > Sherlock Holmes: Well Watson, 9/11 may not be the greatest crime of all time – there have been many crimes that would rival or surpass 9/11 in terms of casualties and suffering. And, of course, the Bush administration claims the case is closed because they know who did 9/11 – and the 19 al Qaeda hijackers. But, let’s not jump to conclusions. In the court of world opinion, there isn’t a consensus on Bush’s ‘’ – not even close. Almost half of those who know anything about it, don’t buy it – including the Federal Bureau of Investigation! According to the FBI, there isn’t enough evidence to pin 9/11 on Osama bin Laden. I’ll give you two quotes to prove it: On April 30, 2002, FBI Director Robert Mueller stated, “In our investigation, we have not uncovered a single piece of paper … that mentioned any aspect of the September 11 plot.” Chief of Investigative Publicity for the FBI, Rex Tomb, stated on June 5, 2006, and I quote: “The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Usama Bin Laden’s Most Wanted page is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden to 9/11.” Given then, that the FBI doesn’t agree with the official story, as put forth by the Bush administration, one could say the crime of 9/11 remains unsolved. And given that it has had dramatic implications for millions of people around the world, you could say it’s the greatest unsolved crime of all time. official Watson: So you don’t believe the Bush administration’s own account? > Holmes: Not at all Watson. Just listen to it: 19 Muslim extremists, directed by Osama bin Laden from a cave in , hijacked four US commercial passenger jets on September 11, 2001 using only knives and box cutters. They evaded the entire multi-billion dollar US defense system and using the planes as bombs, they successfully crashed them into three out of four targets. World Trade Centers 1 and 2, in , collapsed within two hours of being hit – due to the impact of the planes, the explosion of their fuel and the subsequent office fires. All 156 passengers on board died on impact. Both of the 110-storey Twin Towers collapsed in a ‘pancake’ fashion, pulverizing everything in their path, killing approximately 2700 persons in and around the complex. A third 47-storey skyscraper, WTC Building 7, collapsed later that day due to damage sustained by falling debris from the Twin Towers. One person was killed. The plane that hit in Washington, DC, vaporized on impact, killing 125 people on the ground and 64 passengers on board. The fourth plane, which never reached its target, crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania due to a passenger revolt, killing all 45 passengers on board. There were no warnings for this act of , and it was a series of unfortunate communication failures that prevented an adequate defense. … However, Watson, this story, in my opinion, is riddled with inconsistencies and it is clearly problematic. Watson: How so, Holmes? What’s your alternative theory? And how are you going to prove the official account is a lie? Holmes: The alternative? That remains to be seen. As to how to prove the official theory is absurd – elementary, my dear Watson – simply by following the usual principles we always use in the art of detection. Watson: So, the big question remains: WHO DUNNIT? Holmes: Patience, my dear Watson. We shall soon see.

 20 Tips from Sherlock Holmes on the Art of Detection Stick to the Facts. Eliminate the Impossible.

1. Stick to the facts. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit (SCAN) theories, instead of theories to suit facts. 2. It is of the highest importance in the art of detection to be able to recognize out of a number of facts which are incidental and which (REIG) vital. Otherwise your energy and attention must be dissipated instead of being concentrated. Sherlock Holmes 3. There is nothing more deceptive than an ‘obvious’ fact. (BOSC) 4. There is nothing like first-hand evidence. (STUD) 5. It is a capital mistake to theorize before you have all the evidence. It biases the judgment. (STUD) 6. To solve the mystery, first look for he who will benefit. (THOR) 7. Never trust to general impressions, my boy, but concentrate yourself upon details. (IDEN) 8. One should always look for a possible alternative and provide against it. It is the first rule of (BLAC) criminal investigation. 9. We must look for consistency. Where there is want of it, we must suspect deception. (THOR) 10. We balance probabilities and choose the most likely. It is the scientific use of the imagination. (HOUN) 11. I never make exceptions. An exception disproves the rule. (SIGN) 12. There is no branch of detective science which is so important and so much neglected as the art of (STUD) tracing footsteps. 13. Where a crime is coolly premeditated, the means of covering it up are coolly premeditated also. (THOR) 14. When you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, (BLAN) must be the truth. Improbable as it is, all other explanations are more improbable still. (SILV) 15. Circumstantial evidence is a very tricky thing. It may seem to point very straight to one thing, but if you shift your own point of view a little, you may find it pointing in an equally uncompromising (BOSC) manner to something entirely different. 16. It has long been an axiom of mine that the little things are infinitely the most important. (IDEN) 17. Crime is common. Logic is rare. Therefore it is upon the logic rather than upon the crime that you (COPP) should dwell. 18. Detection is, or ought to be, an exact science and should be treated in the same cold and unemotional (SIGN) manner. 19. I never guess. It is a shocking habit – destructive to the logical faculty. (SIGN) 20. One true inference invariably suggests others. (SILV)

 Preface There are many reasons I came to doubt the official story of 9/11 – one of the biggest was the fact that the FBI’s MOST WANTED poster of ‘Usama’ bin Laden didn’t mention he was wanted for the crime of 9/11.
