Partners and associates from each practice area host breakfast or lunch presentations within the first two weeks of the program and actively involve our clerks in group meetings and in "special opportunities" outside the office, whenever possible. We also host in-house and external training seminars on topics such as corporate transactions and negotiation skills. All of our summer law clerks have the opportunity to spend time working in one of our international offices and are able to experience first- hand just how global our network truly is. While our on-the-job training is superb, we also offer a unique global business skills curriculum for full-time associates, which focuses on presentation, business development, client communication and people-management skills. At the mid-level and senior associate level, our attorneys participate in off-site development centers where they have an opportunity to practice their business skills through exercises with real-life scenarios, and create individual development plans with the assistance of partners and Clifford Chance Academy professionals.
