To His Honour The Lieutenant-Governor in Council: The undersigned has the honour to recommend: °/e, 6.7i THAT under the provisions of the "Vital Statistics Act" section 26 chapter 357 of the "Revised Statutes of British Columbia, 1948," in order to allow for the es- tablishment of a new registration district to be known as the vital statistics registration district of Kitimat, the boundaries of the registration district of Prince Rupert be amended and established as follows: Commencing at that point on the International Boundary between Canada and Alaska south-west of Wales Island where said International Boundary turns westerly; thence westerly along said International Boundary to the northerly prolongation of the middle line of Hecate Strait; thence southerly to and along said middle line to the south- westerly prolongation of the middle line of Milbanke Sound; thence north-easterly to and along the middle line of Milbanke Sound to the westerly production of the middle line of Finlayson Channel; thence easterly to and along said middle line to the easter- ly production of the middle line of Sarah Passage; thence westerly to and along the middle line of Sarah Passage and that of Tolmie Channel, Graham Reach, Butedale Pas- sage, Fraser Reach, McKay Reach and Wright Sound to a point thereon due south of Waterman Point; thence north to said point; thence northerly along the height of land separating the streams flowing easterly into Douglas Channel from those flowing wester- ly into Grenville Channel to the southerly boundary of the watershed of Ecstall River; thence north-easterly along the southerly and easterly boundaries of said watershed to the westerly boundary of the watershed of Gitnadoix River; thence northerly along said boundary to the north-easterly boundary of the watershed of Alder Creek; thence north- westerly along the north-easterly boundary of the watershed of Alder Creek to a point thereon due south of the south-west corner of Lot 4803, Range 5, Coast Land District, being a point on the right bank of Skeena River; thence north to said corner; thence northerly along the westerly boundary of Lot 4803 to the north-west corner thereof; thence due north to the westerly boundary of the watershed of Exchamaiks River; thence northerly along said boundary to the northerly boundary of the watershed of Skeena River; thence north-easterly along said boundary to the northerly boundary of the watershed of Khutzeymateen River; thence westerly along said boundary and that of the watershed of the streams flowing southerly into Khutzeymateen Inlet produced to the middle line of Steamer Passage; thence south-westerly to and along the middle line of Steamer Passage to the entrance thereof; thence due west to the point due south of that point on the International Boundary south-west of Wales Island aforesaid; thence north to the point of co ement.
