Türkiye henüz bu konuda Fransa ya da İtalya ile boy ölçüşemese de giderek daha fazla gencin aklına düşüyor. Daha fazla turizm acentesinin ajandasında yer alıyor. Turizm rekorlarımıza artık yabancı konukların nikahları da katılıyor. Türkiye’de evlilik denince akla iki destinasyon geliyor: Biri bol sıfırlı rakamlar harcamaya hazır zenginler için İstanbul ve saray ihtişamındaki düğünler. Diğeri de Antalya ve yöresi. Kimi yerlerde at üstünde gelin getirme törenine kadar otantik düğünler yapılıyor. Konuklarımıza da, mutlu günlerinde her dilden ‘evet’ demek düşüyor.

Turkey for wedding vows

Tourism is a sector that is always looking for new things. One of the most interesting examples of this search is ‘to get married in a foreign country’ trend. While Turkey can not compete with France or Italy in this area yet, it is in the minds of more and more young people… It appears in the agenda of more travel agents. Marriage of foreign visitors are now included in our tourism records. When getting married in Turkey is mentioned two destinations spring to mind: One of them is İstanbul for wealthy people who are prepared to spend figures with plenty of noughts at the end and for sumptuous palace weddings. The other one is Antalya and its surrounds. The figures from the South are rather interesting. Think about it, 11 thousand couples got married in Antalya last year. More than 4 thousand of them were foreign couples. Weddings in İstanbul aren’t in their thousands yet. But they attract more attention, they are talked about more, they bring more money in… The wedding of the son of one of India’s richest businessmen Bhatia which lasted four days and four nights became the most colourful example. But that was not the ‘only example’. Thus, Çırağan Palace is host to more than 100 weddings a year. Almost a fifth of those weddings are the weddings of foreign couples. Tourism sector displays its dynamism in this area too. They develop projects to make wedding trend in Turkey to become more widespread. Some hotels organise ‘bridesmaids hamam’.. Some places organise authentic wedding receptions that may stretch as far as bringing the bride on a horse back. All the guests have to do is to say ‘yes’ in every language on their happiest day.

Çünkü o hep insanı anlatıyor. Şimdi de, 100 yaşını aşmış 35 kişinin ‘tarihe tanıklıkları’ ile benzersiz bir projeye hazırlanıyor. Yanı sıra, bir dizi film üzerinde çalışıyor. Hepsi bu kadar değil. MAKING A NOTE ON HISTORY: THE HUMAN COLLECTOR Turkey mostly recognises him through TV programme ‘Bir Yudum İnsan’ (A Sip of Human). Already, when you mention the name Nebil Özgentürk the word ‘human’ springs to mind. Because, he always narrates humans. Now, he is creating a unique project involving 35 people who are more than 100 years old who were ‘witnesses to history’. He is also working on a television series. And that’s not all. Nebil Özgentürk became a father shortly after this interview and added a new one to his ‘humans’. On behalf of TÜRSAB family we wish a healthy and happy life to Arın who was named by Can Dündar. Türk Hava Yolları uçuş ağını güçlendirmeye devam ediyor. Bu çerçevede 17 Ekim 2011’den itibaren Suudi Arabistan’ın Dammam kenti, haftada üç sefer düzenlenecek uçuşlarla İstanbul’a bağlanacak. Öte yandan Türk Hava Yolları, Roma, Milano, Venedik, Bologna, Cenova ve Napoli’den sonra İtalya’daki yedinci uçuş noktası olarak Torino’ya sefer düzenlemeye başladı. 2 Ağustos’ta başlayan uçuşlar, salı, cuma ve cumartesi günleri olmak üzere haftada üç frekans gerçekleşiyor.

Flight network is expanding daily

Türk Hava Yolları, Türk Halk Müziği’nin en bilinen ve seçkin eserlerinin bir araya getirildiği bir albüm hazırladı. ‘Yedi İklimin Nefesi, Bir Ülkenin Sesi’ adlı albüm, yedi bölgeden 81 ilimizin türkülerinin yer aldığı 135 eserden oluşuyor. Albümde Zara, Aysun Gültekin, Şahin Gültekin, Orhan Hakalmaz, Müslüm Gürses, İbrahim Erkal, Belkıs Akkale gibi bir çok ünlü sanatçı tarafından seslendirilen türkülerin yanı sıra 15 enstrümantal eser ile Türk Halk Müziği’ni tanıtan bir kitapçık da yer alıyor.

Turkish Airlines prepared a compilation album which brings together the most popular and elite voices of Turkish Folk Music. The album is called ‘Yedi İklimin Nefesi, Bir Ülkenin Sesi’ (Breath of Seven Seasons, Voice of One Country) and includes 135 songs from 81 provinces in seven regions of Turkey. In the album there are folk songs sung by famous singers such as Zara, Aysun Gültekin, Şahin Gültekin, Orhan Hakalmaz, Müslüm Gürses, İbrahim Erkal, Belkıs Akkale as well as 15 instrumental tracks and a booklet introducing Turkish Folk Music.
