YELLOW WELLY

Hand iced biscuit company, Biscuiteers.com have kindly shared their recipe for yellow welly so give them a go for your Mayday bake sale. INGREDIENTS TO MAKE 24 BISCUITS: • 350g plain flour • 100g self-raising flour • 125g granulated • 125g salted , diced • 125g golden syrup • 1 teaspoon of vanilla bean paste • 1 large egg, lightly beaten • A welly-shaped biscuit cutter or make your own

FOR THE ICING: • 150ml cold water • 900g mix • Yellow and black food colouring

THE BISCUITS: THE ICING:

1. Sift the flours into a mixing bowl, add sugar and mix well. 1.
