Abstract: This paper is focused on an idea about consumption and CO2 emissions related to cars and hybrid technology and its importance into transportation are increasing. society which solves the major problem of fuel and is renewable, free and largely diffused, pollution in present days. Hybrid technology has and photovoltaic panels are subject to continuous several advantages like fuel efficiency and low technological advances in terms of cell efficiency pollution. This vehicle incorporates the feature of their diffusion is rapidly growing, while their cost, automatic ON-OFF voice control mechanism which after a continuous decrease and an inversion of the controls the starting of vehicle as well as headlights trend occurred in 2004, is continuing to decrease. of vehicle. A complete data analysis is to be done to examine the technical aspects of the hybrid car Solar cars powered only by the solar energy , technology. This project has more reliability as it inspite of some spectacular outcomes in competitions works on solar energy and conventional fuel. The as , do not represent a practical goal of this project is to implement the most efficient alternative to conventional cars, due to limitation on and less polluting vehicle. In our project the solar maximum power, range, dimensions and costs. hybrid car have internal combustion engine of a conventional vehicle with a battery and a electric 2. Literature Review motor, resulting in twice the fuel economy of conventional vehicle. The car invented was a tiny 15-inch vehicle created by William G. Cobb of . Called the , Cobb showcased the Keyword: microcontroller, voltage regulator, BLDC first solar car at the Chicago Powerama convention motor, LED, BASECOM-8051. on August 31, 1955. The solar car was made up of 12 selenium photovoltaic cells and a small Pooley 1. Introduction turning a pulley which in turn rotated the rear wheel shaft. The first solar car in history was In the last years, increasing attention is being spent obviously too small to drive. In 1962 when the first towards the applications of solar energy to electric solar car that a person could drive was demonstrated and also to hybrid cars. But, while cars only run on to the public. The International Rectifier Company solar enargy do not represent a practical alternative converted a vintage model 1912 Baker to to cars for normal use, the concept of a hybrid run on photovoltaic energy in 1958. electric car assisted by solar panels appears more An advanced embedded system in automobiles has realistic. A hybrid combines a increased rapidly in the past two decades. . The conventional power vehicle with some form of technological innovations of the embedded system electric . The reasons for studying and within the vehicle are being ambitiously challenged developing a hybrid can be summarized to make the vehicle energy efficient, network savvy as follows: and safe. Advanced usage of embedded system in Fossil fuels, largely used for car population ,are vehicle can help in controlling the pollution, doomed to depletion; their price tends to increase , increasing the facility to provide systems monitoring and is subject to large and unpredictable fluctuations; features that consumers demand. The CO2 generated by the combustion processes occurring in conventional thermal engines contributes to the greenhouse effects, with dangerous and maybe dramatic effects on global warming and climatic changes. The worldwide demand for personal mobility is rapidly growing, especially in china and India; as a consequence, energy

3. Block Diagram of hybrid solar car voltage regulator IC.The pin 1 of the IC is the control pin which is used to control the charging voltage. The pin 2 is the output pin at which the charging voltage appears. The pin 3 is the input pin to which the regulated DC supply is given. The charging voltage and current is controlled by the Transistor Q1,resistor R1 and POT R5.When the battery is first connected to the charging terminals ,the current through R1 increases. This in turn increases the current and voltage from LM 317.When the battery is fully charged the charger reduces the charging current and the battery will be charged in the trickle charging mode.

Circuit diagram of voice controlled mechanism Block diagram consists of solar array having maximum voltage rating of 17.87V That is converted into 12V with the help of charging circuit ( LM317 voltage regulator IC) .This 12V supply is faded into battery bank that drives BLDC motor. For controlling BLDC motor we are using BLDC controller. The vehicle also consists of a petrol engine which impart more reliability to it. 4. Circuit Diagram of charging circuit

The Intel 8051 microcontroller is one of the most popular general purpose microcontrollers in use today. The success of the Intel 8051 spawned a number of clones which are collectively referred to as the MCS-51 family of microcontrollers, which includes chips from vendors such as Atmel, Philips, Infineon, and Texas Instruments. Voice Controlled mechanism is used for on/off operation of headlights and for starting and This is a battery charger circuit using IC LM stoping the car. 317.The circuit can be used to charge 12Vlead acid batteries. The circuit is very simple and can be easily assembled on a general purpose PCB. The heart of the circuit is IC LM 317 ,which is an adjustable

7. Conclusion

Solar technology is an alternative that can be commercialized in order to replace nonrenewable sources. Based on solar technology, many applications have been produced like solar car, and many more. It is clear that this project is able to get acquainted with this new area of photovoltaic solar energy application. The designed in this project can contribute to energy saving and meet the energy efficiency guideline .In addition, if power system generating the electricity for recharging the batteries, uses solar energy for charging the vehicle batteries, it will reduce the air pollution. It is more efficient than conventional fuel as it does not produce any pollution and safe for environment.
