Brake Job - Rear Replace Pads: recommend rear brake job, pads at 2mm Item Description

Brake pads are the parts of a 's braking system that actually take the brunt of the frictional force necessary to stop the car. In a system, the brake pedal activates a hydraulic line which squeezes calipers against the rotors of the car's tires. Brake pads are positioned between the calipers and the rotors to absorb the energy and heat, and then provide enough grip to stop the car. Brake pad material wears out over time. Brake pads should be periodically inspected for wear, which is highly variable depending on vehicle weight and driver habits.

Reason

Brake pads must be replaced before the friction material is worn away completely. If it isn't, metal- to-metal contact will occur between the brake rotor and the worn-out brake pad. If metal-to-metal contact occurs, the brake rotor will be damaged, and it will need to be resurfaced or replaced. When the pads are replaced, the rotor must be resurfaced smooth to allow the new pads to have an even contact surface to work with. Only a small amount of material can be machined off of a rotor before it becomes unusable and must be replaced.

Brake Rotor Resurface - Front: recommend resurface per brake pulsation and grooving Item Description Brake rotors are the parts within the of an automobile which brake pads squeeze in order to slow the rotation of the and bring the vehicle to a stop.

Reason Resurfacing brake rotors means that damaged material is removed. There is a maximum amount of damaged material that can be removed before the brake rotors are deemed not serviceable and must be replaced. Brake rotors removed from the vehicle are remachined on a lathe. Brake rotors which are in poor condition can cause undo wear to Brake Rotor brake pads and calipers.

"Nissan" - : recommend both front axles, boots are ripped and leaking grease Item Description

Your axles were designed to last the life of a vehicle. As they are subject to high levels of stress and wear over time, it is important to have them checked when your vehicle is being serviced. Your axles may need an inspection and repair if: - Your vehicle's wheels will not turn - You see grease around the tires - You hear clicking or clunking noise when turning - You feel vibration throughout the car when driving, braking or turning - If your engine and transmission are fine but it simply won't move Your axles are used for steering, driving and braking. They carry the entire weight of your vehicle, passengers, and cargo.

Reason

Control Arm - Front: recommend both front lower control arms, bushings are cracked causing a clunking noise Item Description The front upper and lower control arms not only provide suspension travel but also secure the front end to the vehicle. Reason A broken or damaged front control arm will affect the stability and smoothness of the ride. If not replaced the front control arm will cause "wheel hop" and can cause damage to the drive train.

Alignment: vehicle pulls a little bit to the right, recommend adjustment after replacing suspension components Item Description

Alignment is one of the key maintenance factors in getting the most tread life and performance from your tires. In addition, wheel alignment provides safe, predictable vehicle control as well as a smooth and comfortable ride that's free of pulling or vibration. Today's modern suspensions require a precise four-wheel alignment that can only be Alignment achieved through a modern alignment system. This applies to both front and rear wheel drive vehicles. Aligning a car or truck involves the adjustment of the vehicle's suspension, not the tires and wheels. The direction and the angles that the tires point in after the alignment is complete, however, are critically important. There are four factors involved in setting the alignment to specification: caster, camber, and ride height.

Reason

If not done, you will see uneven or rapid wear, pulling or drifting away from a straight line, and wandering on a straight level road. It can also cause extra load on certain suspension components, making them more likely to fail.

Brake Flush: recommend to prevent moisture in brake lines Item Description

During the operation of a vehicle, the brake fluid's boiling point is continually reduced through the absorption of atmospheric moisture. The moisture content can lead to the formation of vapor under hard braking conditions, reducing the system's efficiency. Flushing the old contaminated fluid out of the system and replacing it with new clean fluid.

Reason

If not maintained, the contaminated fluid will deteriorate the brake system resulting in unsafe brakes. Brake Flush

Engine Air Filter Replacement Item Description

The air filter prevents dirt and debris from entering the engine, which could otherwise cause premature engine wear.

Reason

If not replaced, poor gas mileage and premature engine wear will result. Air Filter

Cabin Air Filter Replacement Item Description

Prevents dirt, pollen, and other debris from entering the passenger compartment through the climate control system.

Reason

If not replaced, the air conditioning system will develop an odd odor. The air conditioning filter, Cabin Air Filter also known as the cabin filter, removes dust and pollen from entering the car cabin.

Tire Balance and Rotate: recommend per tire vibration at highway speeds Item Description Balancing the vehicles tires are necessary to make sure the proper weight of the vehicle is distributed to the proper tire. helps protect tires against uneven wear by moving the tire location on the vehicle. Most tires will exhibit some form of wear based on numerous factors including: wheel alignment, miles driven, driving style and habits, and tire location on the vehicle. By moving or "rotating" the tires as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer, tires may wear more evenly; helping extend the life of the tires.

Reason

If not properly balanced, a vehicle's tires can experience abnormal wear which can significantly decrease the life of the tire. If not done, you will experience vibration in the steering wheel at certain highway speeds. Also, vibration will occur in the seat or floorboard at certain highway speeds. Tire wear will become scalloped or cupped. PREPARED FOR Repair Estimate INVENTORY: 8223P
