FULLY AND SEMI-AUTOMATIC ALIGNMENT IN THE ASSEMBLY LINE AND AT THE END-OF-LINE

WHEEL ALIGNMENT STAND IN THE ASSEMBLY LINE - PASSENGER

To reduce the necessary test and adjustment capacities at the end of line the wheel alignment stand in the assembly line offers an adequate alternative to conventional transit test stands. With this system the wheel geometry of the vehicle is mea- sured and adjusted fully-automated directly after the ins- tallation of the in the . »» Wheel alignment stand in the assembly line During the adjustment the vehicle is suspended from its hanger. According to the vehicle type the adjustment of and camber values at the front as well as at the rear axle is carried out by the setting tools developed by Dürr. Robots deliver the setting tools exactly to the respective setting points. The test stand control and visualization is effected by the x-line software developed by DÜRR.

SEMI-AUTOMATIC TOOLS TO ADJUST THE REAR AXLE - PASSENGER CAR

The semi-automatic setting tools to adjust and lock the »» Toe setting tool front axle toe can be integrated in the wheel geometry test stand x-wheel. In this application the tools to adjust the toe of the rear axle are automatically prepositioned according to the chassis geometry (type/track width/wheel base). The final delivery to the corresponding bolting points and the toe setting of the rear axle are executed manually by the operator.

Afterwards, the bolting is executed torque and angle con- trolled. The actual values achieved are documented and saved. The test stand control and visualization is effected by the x-line software developed by DÜRR. »» Toe setting tool rear axle
