FRIDAY EVENINGS ARE FOR TOUCH RUGBY

Get a few mates together and come on down to the astro-turf pitch at the Brickfields in Plymouth for some fun games of Touch Rugby. Sessions run from 6pm – 8pm every Friday and are for men and women over the age of 16. Touch Rugby is a great social activity and a fun way to keep fit. The game is really easy to learn, so complete beginners to rugby will be catching the ball and running with it , in no time . RFU COACHING AWARDS The “RFU Coaching Awards” provide an opportunity for clubs, schools, CBs, players and coaches to recognise coaching achievements and value the role that coaching makes to the sport of rugby union. The categories include: THE IAN THOMPSON YOUNG PEOPLE’S COACH OF THE YEAR ADULT COACH OF THE YEAR COACH EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR CLUB COACHING COORDINATOR OF THE YEAR LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD FOR COACHING EXCELLENCE HOW TO NOMINATE

Anyone can make a nomination by completing an official Coaching Awards Nomination Form, downloadable from http://www.rfu.com/TakingPart/Coach/AwardsForCoachingExcellence.aspx

Nominations need to be submitted by 1st December 2011 to [email protected]. The awards ceremony will take place on 4th January 2012, at the National Coaching Conference at Heythrop Park, Oxfordshire. All winners will be guests of the RFU. Please note: All entries must be typed.

DEVON AGE GRADE RUGBY RFU GRAND DRAW 2011/12 – the easiest way for clubs to raise cash for themselves! SCHOOL / CLUB LINKS The RFU has entered into a partnership with the Idox
