Radio:

Between KGO-AM, KNBR-AM, KFOG-FM, KSFO-AM, KSAN-FM, KCBS-AM and KOIT-FM, over 450 radio spots ran over the span of two and a half weeks. Over 4.7 million radio impressions were served, targeting commuters during peak rush hour day parts.

Out of Home:

Between 3 static bulletins and 5 posters strategically placed in high traffi c areas targeting the market’s affl uent pockets, almost 7 million impressions were served to commuters over a 4 week period.

Digital Campaign:

In addition to digital campaigns with TV and radio partners, an outside digital marketing agency, AdTaxi, put together a campaign that spanned across social media, banner ads, and search marketing. The results? Over 868K digital impressions to qualifi ed prospects that met the Travel & Adventure Show’s target demographic.

Media Coverage:

In the weeks leading up to the event, various print and radio interviews were set up with exhibitors, speakers, and Travel Show Management. Kicking off with a 4 minute segment on KTVU-FOX on Friday morning, plus interviews on top radio stations, travel show speakers, exhibitors and sponsors were featured throughout the weeks leading up to, and during, the event. The result? Over 1.1 million impressions were served by Bay Area PR efforts

FACEBOOK:

Within 3 Weeks leading up to, and including, the SF/Bay Area Event, Travel & Adventure Show Facebook advertising campaign targeted SF/Bay area travelers, promoting event speakers, sponsors and exhibitors. These ads reached 95,000 people while creating 250,000 impressions, drawing more attention to the event and driving ticket sales. Additionally, the Travel & Adventure Show Facebook Advertising campaign included a separate Event Response Campaign that reached 27,000 people while creating over 37,000 impressions and 385 event responses

TWITTER:

By engaging celebrity speakers, local and national bloggers and industry professionals, @TravAdventure created over 60.6K organic impressions and over 500 engagements. The Bay Area hashtag, #BayAreaTravelShow was used in over 200 posts reaching over 550,000 people.

INSTAGRAM:

Within 3 Weeks leading up to, and including, the SF/ Bay Area Event, Travel & Adventure Show Instagram advertising campaign targeted SF/Bay Area area travelers, promoting event awareness, event speakers, sponsors and exhibitors. These ads reached 68,000 people while creating over 101,000 impressions. #BayAreaTravelShow was used in over 100 posts leading up to, and including the Bay Area event, resulting in over 3000 likes.

The Travel & Adventure Show launched the FAM-TAS Travel Agent Program on Saturday, March 23rd, 2019 at the SF/Bay Area Travel & Adventure Show. This turn-key program provided a platform for select destinations and travel suppliers to connect with, educate and familiarize retail Travel Agents with how best to market and sell their products through a dynamic schedule of catered presentations and show fl oor passport program.
