Leslie Mayer created Mayer Leadership Group to provide comprehensive counsel and support to boards, CEOs and senior management teams of both growing companies and established market- leading enterprises. She consults in such areas as board/management relations, leadership effectiveness and development, cultural transformation, identifying and leveraging talent within the organization, enhancing political savvy in complex environments or new roles, creating resonant cultures that support business objectives, managing uncertainty, knowledge transfer and building relationships with outside clients and partners.

By background a psychologist and educator and by nature an entrepreneur, Leslie possesses a powerful understanding of what it takes to lead and grow young businesses, enterprises undergoing fundamental transformation or explosive growth, or companies navigating the uncertain waters of complex global and technological markets. Leslie both provides her own expertise in Talent Identification, Leadership Development, Learning Theory and Group Dynamics and leads a team of experts experienced in a variety of leadership, organizational and communications disciplines.

Leslie holds both Master’s and Doctoral degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. For seven years, she served as a Senior Fellow in the Management Department of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, working with the Wharton Global Family Alliance. Her involvement with the University of Pennsylvania has also included teaching at the Graduate School of Education and speaking at international alumni meetings. Leslie has been featured in a variety of national and international publications, including Worth, Inc., The Philadelphia Inquirer, Director and Boards, Barrons.com, Diario Economica and Manager magazines. She has been a keynote speaker at numerous regional conferences, as well. Over the course of the past decade, she has served on both Boards of Directors and Advisory Boards. Leslie is a member of the Forum of Executive Women, Society for Psychologists in Management, the American Psychological Association and served on the Trustees’ Council of Penn Women for seven years.
