Kleines Festspielhaus "At the foot of the Mönchsberg"

The main parts of this large festival hall were built in 1924, but it has been changed and adapted several times since then. With 1324 seats and standing room for 60, it holds a relatively large number of visitors. The entrance hall with a famous frescoe by Anton Faistauer is most impressive. One of the three main stages under one roof in the so called by Andreas Praefcke 'Festival District'.

Felsenreitschule "Step into the Past"

Built in the 17th century, Felsenreitschule was once used for horse riding shows and animal baiting. Since then, the venue has undergone radical transformations in order to include an enlarged stage, collapsible seating, and retractable roof. Despite the modern additions, much of the arena's original appearance has been fully preserved. With the ability to hold over by Hvplux 1,400 guests, play productions and stage shows such as "The Servant of Two Masters" are shown at Felsenreitschule.

Landestheater Salzburg "Famed Dramatics"

The Landestheater stages elaborate productions of classic works as well as more contemporary pieces. Annual productions range from opera to ballet, musical theater and musical productions for young people. With high stucco ceilings, plush red carpets, winding staircases, stunning boxes and enormous chandeliers, the interior is exactly what one would expect by Andrew Bossi from such a renowned establishment.
