CMM College of Theology History

Correll Missionary Ministries was founded in 1978 to take the Good News of Jesus Christ into all the earth. Our College of Theology is entering our 12th year of strengthening Biblical knowledge, faith and understanding of the Word in many nations.

Transfer of credits from CMM College of Theology to another institution is at the discretion of the receiving institution. CMM College of Theology is a satellite school of North Carolina College of Theology, based in Wilmington, NC.

All communication and homework is handled through our class teachers and the office of the satellite school President, Dr. Jorge Parrott.

Our school helps people who want to grow in passion and hunger for the Lord learn to think and study in fresh ways, so that they can fulfill their destiny and build the kingdom of God in the sphere of influence in which they are called, unlike other schools who define their student achievements by the knowledge they can recite; we build, edify, and encourage through thought-provoking work to develop depth, authority, and revelation. This is challenging, personal and powerful.

CMM College of Theology strives to pioneer transformational theological training with revelatory study. Eligible students can graduate in one year with an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies and progress to a Graduate, Masters, or in Theology as well as a PhD.

The aim of the School of Theology is to teach fundamental truths of the faith with revelation that prepares students to disciple the world in Spirit and Truth.

Dr. Jorge Parrott is the President of the School of Theology and is also the Missions Director of CM/Missions offers short, mid, and long-term missions placement as well as internships to assist CMM College of Theology students in determining if they are called to missions and seeking their place after graduation, as well as fulfilling their destinies.

The CM Missions network has thousands of missionary leaders serving in 69 nations, equipping national pastors who have planted thousands of churches, schools, orphanages, and medical facilities. Dr. Jorge Parrott is the President of CMM Theology, the President of CMM (Correll Missionary Ministries). CM Missions also handles cross- cultural training, support raising, disaster response, humanitarian aid, including the persecuted church, and donor relations for those serving in missions.

Dean, Dr. Nancy Daniel has been the Dean of our School for 10 years. She is uniquely gifted to listen, and help students discover their purpose, ignite their passion and bring transformational discovery. The professors she oversees share our desire to ignite a deep hunger for the Lord in a rare and transformative way not found in any school globally. Our staff has earned the trust and respect of hundreds of our students and many develop life time relationships with our team.

3 STATEMENT OF BELIEFS The following is a statement of our position of basic Christian doctrines. As once stated by a great missionary, “There are certain basic Christian truths about which there must be agreement. On all other doctrines there should be liberty. In all things there must be charity.” It is our resolution to take an uncompromising stand on the essential doctrines of the faith, and extend “the right hand of fellowship” to all who hold to them. It is also our resolution to protect the liberty of Christians to hold different perspectives on the “non-essential” doctrines. There are doctrines we may consider non-essential, but which are important. We therefore make known our belief on these, while presenting them with tolerance toward those who may hold a different position. We are committed to truth and accuracy in doctrine, but also understand that one can hold right doctrines and still do damage to the body of Christ by causing divisions over the non-essentials. We are therefore just as committed to the essential Christian character, believing that “In all things there must be charity.” As the apostle stated, “The goal of our instruction is love, from a pure heart and a sincere faith” (I Timothy 1:5). That, too, is our goal and commitment as we promote the following teachings that we hold as truth: On the Person of Jesus There is only one true God, Who is revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the Word (Logos) of God. The Word was with God in the beginning, which states His pre-existence as one with God. “By Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth” (Colossians 1:16), therefore making Jesus the Creator. Jesus Christ is the Purpose of God found in all of creation. He is the Father’s delight and desire, and the Father is looking for the reflection of His Son in all created things. Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. In the beginning, it was the ultimate purpose of God for all things to be summed up in Christ (Ephesians 1:10). Jesus Christ, Who pre-existed with God in the form of God, emptied Himself to become fully a man that He might be the propitiatory sacrifice for the sins of mankind. Through His propitiatory sacrifice made on the cross, all who believe in Him and His sacrifice have their sins remitted and are restored to the fellowship with God lost by man’s transgression. Jesus was born of a virgin, by the seed of the Holy Spirit. His virgin birth is a testimony that only the Spirit can beget that which is Spirit. Those of the new creation are not solely of human origin, but are born from above by the Holy Spirit. The resurrection of Jesus’ physical body after His crucifixion was literal, as will be the resurrection of both the just and the unjust on the Day of Judgment. “There is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (I Timothy 2:5). All who seek restoration and fellowship with God must go through Jesus and cannot approach God through any person, spirit or doctrine. It is also a supreme presumption for any person or institution to seek to be mediator for others in place of Christ Jesus Himself. The apostolic commission was for His followers to labor until Christ was formed in His church, to present every person complete in Christ, and to manifest the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. When Jesus is lifted up, He will draw all people to Himself. We consider it the primary purpose of the church to esteem and exalt Jesus in every way. It is the focus and devotion of CM Missions to know and preach Him, and not ourselves. We pray for the grace to continually respond to His call to return to our first Love, that we might passionately devote ourselves to pleasing Him in all things while preparing for His return. On Man We believe that man was created by God from the dust of the earth, without sin or the knowledge of good and evil. The first man, Adam, transgressed the command of God, and as God had warned, the process of death entered him and all of his descendants because of that transgression. Therefore, all have sinned and are worthy of the sentence of death. Because of our unrighteousness, we are unable to approach a holy God, except through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus. Through Jesus, we not only can come before the Throne of Grace, but we may approach it boldly since our confidence is not in ourselves, but in the Lord Jesus. Our Program Basis We have abbreviated our requirements for graduate and postgraduate degrees in effort to hold the tuition to a minimum and allow busy ministers and working students every opportunity for higher Spirit filled, prophetic, Christian . It is the desire CMM College of Theology to mix the Word with the Spirit out of a deep well of the rich prophetic heritage that CMM offers. Each year is a complete package for the degree.

Curriculum and Reference Material The CMM College of Theology seeks to offer the highest quality curriculum and reference materials. Resources are subject to change at the discretion of our faculty leaders. Not all subjects are taught every year.

Student Nondiscrimination Policy The CMM College of Theology admits students of all race, color national and ethnic origin with all rights, privileges, programs and activates made available to students of CMM College of Theology. CMM College of Theology does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethical origin in administration of its policies, loan policies or other school administration programs.

Statement Standards All students are required to give a testimony of having accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior and Lord. Each student is expected to conduct himself/herself in a manner that will at no time bring reproach upon our Savior or CMM.

Requirements for Admission To consider your application for admission, the following is to be understood and submitted: • Students must be 18 years of age or older and profess Christ as Lord. • Students must have a high school diploma or the equivalent. • All materials must be in English. • Submit your official application for admission online at https://CMMtheology.org • You must be proficient in the English language and have a minimum TOEFL score of 70 on the internet-based test, or 523 on the paper-based test.

Application Fees and Tuition A non-refundable application fee of $60 must accompany all applications. Upon approval of application one-third of tuition plus cost of workbooks is due at REGISTRATION. Please note that workbooks will not be released without pre-payment! Remaining balance of tuition and other application fees MUST be paid in full by April 15th of each school year. A 10% discount will be applied for all full pre-payment tuition.

Life-Earned Credits CMM College of Theology recognizes life-learning experience for Doctoral degree and issues credit for such experience. However, CMM College of Theology Administration/Department Head must determine such credit during the candidate’s evaluation process.

Transferred Credits CMM College of Theology reserves the right to allow credits earned at other institutions for similar courses taken at that institution. If credit is awarded, the candidate will be assessed $2.00 per credit hour. These hours may not exceed 60% of the required hours for graduation from CMM College of Theology

Application for Advanced Standing Simply enclose all of the information requested on the enrollment application, along with the appropriate fees. Make your check payable to CMM (you can pay online or in the Missions office). You will be given a detailed report of your advanced standing in the degree program.

5 Refund Policy Students may change or drop a program at any time during the first week after notification of their acceptance into CMM College of Theology. When a program is dropped, or withdrawn from and no substitute is taken, a 10% refund will be made upon request. No refunds are given for workbooks. Students must notify CMM College of Theology in writing, of the intention to withdraw or drop a program, no refunds on doctoral degrees.

Accreditation If the sole purpose of needing an education is for the Gospel ministry or related field within Christina ministry, secular accreditation is not necessary or required All Christian churches accept quality Christian education regardless to which accreditation group, if any the referenced institution belongs. If study is for purpose other than ministry, such as business administrator, engineer, lawyer etc., Students should apply to an institution that belongs to a regional accrediting association. In secular education, regional accreditation is essential! For education of those in Christian service, secular accreditation does little more than typically make the tuition beyond the reach of most ministers.

As noted in the Structure section, CMM College of Theology provides Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral and PhD Degrees. We have been able to secure full accreditation through Accrediting Commission International, Inc. Inquiries please write: Accrediting Commission. International, Inc., PO Box 1030, Beebe, AR 72012. This private accrediting keeps tuition cost at a minimum.

NCCT is a member and an independent subsidiary with Accrediting Commission International, Inc. This agency is not formally recognized by the US Department of Education. We operate legally as an exempt educational institution in and out of the state of North Carolina.

We are also accredited by Transworld Accrediting Commission International. This accrediting association is not formally recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. NCCT operates legally as an exempt.

Important Note The appropriate state of North Carolina authority has declared the relevant degree program of study exempt from the requirements for licensure under provisions of North Carolina general statures section G.S. 116-15 (d) for exemption from licensure with respect to religious education. Exemption from licensure is based upon assessment of program quality under established licensing standards. King James Version is the Bible used for answers and final papers, though you can study with any other Bible.

STUDENT GRIEVANCES

Informal Resolution We use the Biblical method of resolution according to Matthew 18:15-17

“If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church.”

The student is strongly encouraged, to discuss his or her grievance with the person alleged to have caused the problem. This discussion should be held as soon as the student first becomes aware of the act or condition that is the basis of the grievance. Additionally, or in the alternative, the student may wish to present his or her grievance in writing to the person alleged to have caused the grievance. In either case, the person alleged to have caused the grievance must respond to the student promptly, either orally or in writing.

Escalation of Grievance If the student is not satisfied with the response, he or she may present the grievance in writing to the director of the department. Any such written grievance must be received by the administrator not later than forty-five calendar days after the student first became aware of the facts which gave rise to the grievance. (If the grievance is against the director of a department, the student should address his or her grievance to the next level of authority. At this level, a fact finding investigating should take place.

Based upon the report of the information found, the administrator shall make a determination and submit his or her decision in writing to the student and to the person alleged to have caused the grievance within ten calendar days of receipt of the report. The written determination shall include the reasons for the decision, shall indicate the remedial action to be taken if any, and shall inform the student of the right to seek review by the Director.

Appeal Procedures Within ten calendar days of receipt of the administrator’s decision, a student who is not satisfied with the response of the administrator after the escalation may seek further review by submitting the written grievance, together with the administrator’s written decision, to the Director.

CMM COLLEGE OF THEOLOGY FINANCIAL INFORMATION

A non-refundable application fee of $60 must be submitted with application. $400 program fee is also due at registration. Please note that program fees must be paid before receipt of any material. Remaining balance of tuition and any other fees must be paid by April 15th each year. CMM College of Theology graduation is scheduled at the end of May each calendar year. The cost of graduation depends on the degree received.

All other graduation fees must be submitted with order form no later than the first week of April. Graduation fees listed under each degree offered.

Transcripts: $20 each upon request. Transcript will be mailed directly to the requesting institution.

*Graduation fees do not include robes. We offer a 10% discount on just the tuition if the complete payment (including Admin fees, application, book and graduation fees), are received before the first day of school.

Monthly Payment Information Application and Book fees are due before school starts. ($460) The first monthly payment for your degree is due the first day of class in September for Associates through Master 2 students. Starting in October your monthly payment will be due on the 10th and will be due on the 10th through and including April. The monthly payments include everything but the program and application fees as those are paid before school starts. You may also be required to purchase separate books.

10 Associates and Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies Our goal is to take knowledge and couple it with spiritual growth to equip all students, to be able to live and express Biblical truth effectively the contemporary world. The Bachelor of Biblical Studies provides students with an appreciation of the history, context, and message of the Bible. The perquisite for the Bachelor degree is the therefore it takes two years to complete the Bachelor degree. This program prepares and equips the student with a firm foundation in principle and text.

Masters of Biblical Studies in Theology For this two year master degree there are several modules on OT kings and prophets and their interaction and how it applies today as well as personally. Each year ends with a final paper on revelatory theology. The perquisite for the Master degree is a Bachelors degree. This program prepares and equips the student with critical thinking and personal revelation. MASTERS 1/GRADUATE of BIBLICAL STUDIES in THEOLOGY You must have a Bachelor of Biblical Studies Degree or the equivalent to begin this degree. The student will complete the Master 1 or Graduate Degree in one year. The successful student will be eligible to complete the degree by enrolling in the 2nd year Master class. This is the first year of the two-year Degree.

Coursework (60 credits) We study prophetic ministry from the OT, we will look at the OT prophets, their lives and place in history. We will compare and contrast them with current thought. This is a year of discovery and deeper revelation in doctrine. We will look at some basic foundations with a revelatory lens. This course leads into the second year of Masters.

GBS 207-210 EZEKIEL Ezekiel’s call to the ministry, the message of judgment upon Jerusalem and the nation of Israel; includes historical chart, God spoke through Ezekiel to the false prophets and false shepherds; describes the fall and judgment of Lucifer and covers God speaking to the false prophets and shepherds as well as the judgment of Egypt, the valley of dry bones prophecy, and the fulfillment of end- time events; includes charts.

MASTERS of BIBLICAL STUDIES IN THEOLOGY This is degree will take one year to complete. You must have a Graduate Degree in Theology or the equivalent to begin the Master Degree. (I and II Samuel)

MBS 401-404 KINGS OF ISRAEL AND JUDAH Comprehensive study of the Kings of Israel and Judah starting after David’s reign, (Kings, II Chronicles)

MBS 408-410 PSALMS Study of the characteristics of Hebrew poetry, survey of the psalms, covering psalms of devotion and the imprecatory psalms, the Messianic psalms, the penitential psalms, psalms of worship, praise and adoration and the historical psalms.

MBS 411 BETWEEN THE TESTAMENTS Study of the history that happened between the testaments.

MBS 412 PRACTICAL HERMENEUTICS Study of pastoral and heart hermeneutics through application in real life situations.

MBS 413 INTRO TO APOLOGETICS Basic introduction and look at Apologetics.

MBS 414 INTRO TO CHURCH HISTORY Basic look at Church History and worldview.

Doctor of Theology in Biblical Studies, is an in theology. It is a research degree. This is designed for theological scholarship and study. The program leading to the degree is designed for those who are capable of doing research at the highest level.
