Miguel Ramos San Luis 23 De Novembro Campeonato FIA GT 2008 10ª prova – San Luis Miguel Ramos termina o Campeonato no 3º lugar. • Le Mans Fan Guide 2005 Wird in Den Kommenden Tagen Stetig Aktualisiert Um Laufend Aktuelle Informationen Anbieten Zu Können

  • Vitaphone Racing
Date: 4 October 2009 Vitaphone Racing Team is the champion, 11th title for Maserati Paul Ricard, 4th October 2009 - With the second place obtained by Alex Müller and Miguel Ramos and a fifth place by Andrea Bertolini and Michael Bartels, Vitaphone Racing Team mathematically wins the fifth consecutive title among the racing teams. This is an unprecedented result in the FIA GT Championship, giving the Maserati MC12 eleven titles. Since 2005 the MC12 has won: two FIA GT Manufacturers Cups in 2005 and 2007; three FIA GT Drivers Championships in 2006 (Michael Bartels/Andrea Bertolini), in 2007 (Thomas Biagi) and in 2008 (Michael Bartels/Andrea Bertolini); five FIA GT Teams Championships in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 (Vitaphone Racing Team); one Citation Cup for gentlemen drivers in 2007 (Ben Aucott) and three victories at the prestigious Spa 24 Hours (2005, 2006, and 2008). The outcome can be considered positive in what was deemed the toughest circuit for the Modena race cars. A place on the podium for Müller/Ramos is the fair conclusion to a good race, run with authority in the initial stages and in the end influenced by the return of Ruffier/Longin's Corvette. The Bertolini/Bartels duo's fifth place, together with the withdrawal of Kumpen/Hezemans, gives the reigning champions a four-point lead in the driver's ranking prior to the last round of the championship, scheduled for 25 October in Zolder. The third Maserati MC12, driven by the Pier Guidi/Bobbi duo, also ran a good race, arriving sixth, defending the colors of Vitaphone Racing Team DHL.

Key Features One of only 10 works DBR9 GT1 built Led Aston Martin Racing BMS to a 2nd place GT1 Team Championship finish In excellent condition throughout with spares & running tools Offered with its original chassis tub Eligible for Masters’ and Peter Auto’s Endurance Racing Legends race series Description Born of the burgeoning production-based GT category in Europe and America, and marking Aston Martin's first return to international racing since 1989 with the Group C AMR1, the DBR9 took a remarkable victory on its 2005 race debut in the arduous Sebring 12 Hours. Upsetting the favored and tried-and-tested Chevrolet applecart by beating the new Corvette C6.Rs, the striking British machine finished fourth overall and first in the GT1 class, and topped it all by setting fastest lap. The Chevrolets took 2nd and 3rd. It was a remarkable result given that Aston Martin Racing was merely hoping for its DBR9s just to finish the grueling event in what was a test and development year; one in which a privateer DBR9 would also go on to win GT1 in the Nürburgring 1000KM and take overall victory in the FIA GT Championship round at Bahrain. Initial development of the DBR9 had only begun late in mid-2004. Based on the DB9 road car, and publicly unveiled in November the same year, it was the result of what has remained an enduring partnership between Aston Martin and Banbury, England-based Prodrive, the renowned race/rally preparation specialist founded and owned by ex-World Rally Championship-winning navigator David Richards, with AMR wholly owned by Prodrive and solely responsible for design, development, and management of the racing program.

In addition to the legendary names that graced the inaugural race event last November at Kyalami (South Africa), the series is delighted to announce the involvement of ex-Formula One racers Pierluigi Martini (Italian), Eric van de Poele (Belgium) and Alex Caffi (Italian) who will assume the role of Official Test & Safety Car driver for the series. With less than four weeks remaining between now and the season-opener at the state-of-the-art Losail International Raceway, the organisers are busy undertaking testing and preparation work for the field of 15 race cars that will contest the first four-wheeled motor race ever held in Qatar. Ahead of the move to a brand new purpose-designed facility, the Grand Prix MastersWorld Series is making temporary shared use of a facility at Silverstone (Northamptonshire, UK) and it was from there that last week ' s nine car shakedown was successfully undertaken by the three new driver signings. Bob Berridge, Head of Race Operations: " It ' s been an extremely busy time for us recently as we continue to push hard in preparation for our season opener in Qatar. Signing new drivers, new sponsors, new personnel and preparing for our up- and-coming move to a new facility are just a few examples of the behind-the-scenes activity we have all been preoccupied with recently.

  • 28 September 2007 Vitaphone Racing and Playteam Sarafree Go Head To
Date: 28 September 2007 Vitaphone Racing and Playteam Sarafree go head to head for the Team title at Nogaro The Paul Armagnac circuit in Nogaro, France, will be the setting for the ninth and penultimate round of the FIA GT International Championship. A week on from Brno, where Maserati claimed the GT1 Manufacturers' Cup, the Maserati MC12s will have to overcome the tough challenge that the French track provides. This will be the first time that the circuit is being used for this series. It is a challenging one and the track is fairly narrow. Saying this, overtaking is possible at certain spots. Not overly quick, Nogaro brings to mind Varano de' Melegari. It was inaugurated in 1960 and originally measured 1.8 kilometres but has been lengthened in recent years. The last modifications, in 1989, took the overall length to 3.635 km. The race could see Vitaphone Racing (currently leading on 91 points) take the Team title if they manage to score two points more than Playteam Sarafree (second on 57 points). In either case, the winner will be a team that races in the Maserati MC12. Since 2005, the year in which the Modenese cars began competing in the FIA GT from race 1, Maserati (or a team that uses the MC12) has claimed at least two of the three FIA GT championship titles on offer. The Drivers' crown is still there for the taking. The championship was blown wide open by the Brno result. Thomas Biagi (Vitaphone Racing), Andrea Bertolini and Andrea Piccini (Playteam Sarafree) lead with 47 points, three more than the Christian Montanari/Miguel Ramos (Vitaphone Racing), pairing that won in the Czech Republic.
