NEW TRACK & FIELD COACH After 25 of service as Carnegie’s head track and field coach, Dana Smith has passed the reigns to Joel Lorenzo, Carnegie’s PE teacher. We thank Mr. Smith for his dedication, and welcome Mr. Lorenzo into the role!

Mr. Lorenzo is looking to partner with parents in the Carnegie community who are willing to assist at practices and at meets. FOOD AND DRINK DELIVERIES TO SCHOOL Carnegie requests that parents and students please refrain from having food and drinks delivered to Carnegie, whether by well-meaning family members or third-party services like Door Dash. A large number of our students have food allergies and special foods present a risk. In addition, calling for students to pick up items during instructional time and returning to class with edible items is very disruptive. Lastly, the front office can’t guarantee timely delivery and perishable items may remain in the office for prolonged periods of time. Back to the Top

STUDENT ID BADGES Carnegie would like to stress the importance of students having a current photo ID badge on display with a lanyard while on campus. It helps identify students for safety reasons, and the barcode allows staff members to scan the badge for students arriving tardy, entrance to events such as dances and movie nights, to reward House points for participation in events, and other purposes.

All students were issued their first ID badge for free. If the first badge was misplaced and a replacement is needed, please have your student visit the front office to purchase one for $5 cash. We ask that students request a replacement badge at least one prior to an event in order to give the office staff adequate time to generate the card. Back to the Top

VISITORS ON CAMPUS Carnegie is a closed campus, and to ensure the safety of your child, all visitors must check in at the Front Office. All guests will sign in, obtain a visitor’s badge, and will be assisted by the office staff.

Parents must sign in and obtain a visitor’s badge if they are bringing lunch to their student and wish to locate their student in the cafeteria or student circle areas.

When an adult is picking up a child for early dismissal, please check in at the Attendance Office and wait for your child to arrive.
