Prana Vinyasa Asana Photos

As yoga teachers, we need to take responsibility for the transmission that occurs through our body as it is viewed by our students. In plain speak: our students will take on our “alignments and misalignments.” If your shoulders collapse in chaturanga , your students will mirror the weaknesses in your body and practice as well as – and most importantly– what is integrated and radiating consciousness.

Upload 10 photos of yourself in a Prana Vinyasa Asana and write a brief description of ‘how I got to this point so far in my asana evolution.’

Asanas to include: , , , Adho mukha svanasana, Urdhva mukha svanasana, Vira 1, Vira 2, Parivritta , Urdhva , Chaturanga

Teaching Demonstration Project

Make a video while teaching oneself demonstrating:

1. (200/300/500hr) All of the namaskars that you have learned (1 round each) from each required modules you have taken (in groups of 5 namaskars) - Art of Namaskar, Mandala of Asanas, Elemental Vinyasa, Chakra Vinyasa, Rasa Vinyasa. a. For example, for Art of Namaskar and Mandala of Asanas, you demonstrate:

i. Rhythmic Vinyasa A

ii. Rhythmic Vinyasa B iii. Dancing Warrior One iv. Dancing Warrior Side Waist Opening v. Dancing Warrior Hip Opening vi. Dancing Warrior Backbending 2. (300/500hr) One of a Prana Vinyasa arm balance sequence that you have been given in your training and is reflected in the online sadhana. (Bhujapidasna, )

3. (300/500hr) One wave of a Prana Vinyasa backbending sequence that you have been given in your training and is reflected in the online sadhana. (Urdhva Dhanurasana)

Your video will show that you embody the namaskars and sequences that are represented in the live teaching, as well as online. It will allow us to hear you cue the asanas as your move through the flow. This is not to show variation of the namaskars or sequences but that you embody and can teach alignment in the flow through the three-part vinyasa method and that your cueing reflects a naturalness, ease and integration to lead people into flow.

Sva Dharma: Development of a Personal Project (500/1008Hr only) Sva - Essential Self Dharma - Inherent Purpose
