We have accepted the challenge. All socks collected will go to a charity of our choice but the Lodge who collects the most socks in the District will be recognized at the Annual District Convention to be held in June of 2020. So, calling all Lodge members, family and friends, there are a lot of less fortunate men and women out there needing socks, Socks are the one item of clothing that is particularly wanted as cold and wet feet lead into a multitude of other problems for the less fortunate. Let’s show all of the other Lodges in this challenge that, we at Solgylt, care about the less fortunate. All donations can be brought to Lodge meetings, the Lutefisk Supper, both the children’s Christmas Party and the Adult Christmas. Competition ends February, 2020. If you have a donation of socks but can’t get it to us, please email me at [email protected] and we can make arrangements to have your donation picked up. So please, full steam ahead and let’s show all other Lodges that we care.
