    (Tradução) IAOD do Deputado Ho Ion Sang em 01.02.2021 Gestão de substâncias perigosas A gestão de substâncias perigosas tem sido alvo da atenção do público. Há muito tempo que falta em Macau um grande depósito e uma gestão profissional do armazenamento central de substâncias perigosas. Actualmente, muitas substâncias perigosas são depositadas em diversas zonas, o que significa grandes perigos ocultos, e, além disso, os diplomas que regulamentam esta matéria estão bastante fragmentados, não existindo uma lei única. Perante isto, o Governo realizou, há dias, uma consulta pública sobre o Regime jurídico do controlo de substâncias perigosas, na expectativa de definir um regime geral de fiscalização e prevenção de eventuais acidentes graves durante o fabrico, armazenamento, transporte e utilização de substâncias perigosas, de modo a melhor eliminar os potenciais perigos para a segurança em diversas zonas. O Governo tinha o plano de construir armazéns provisórios em dois terrenos no Cotai, para a gestão concentrada das referidas substâncias, numa mesma área específica fechada para o seu depósito e levantamento. No entanto, tendo em conta a proximidade às zonas habitacionais e vias públicas e os riscos de segurança, muitos residentes manifestaram a sua preocupação e oposição. O Governo acabou por descartar a ideia de armazéns provisórios, e decidiu construir um armazém permanente no local do antigo Centro Desafio Jovem, afastado das zonas residenciais. Mesmo assim, propõe-se ao Governo que aprenda com as lições do passado, no sentido de esclarecer o projecto, os materiais e técnicas de construção, o nível de segurança pretendido, etc. Mais, deve fazer bem a avaliação do impacto ambiental, e divulgar quanto antes os relatórios e dados.
