a Although this species does not seem to present a high level of risk, it is morphologically similar to Senecio inaequidens, an invasive species that presents a greater risk to Canadian agriculture and the environment. Both species should be regulated concurrently; regulating only S. inaequidens could make identification within commodities difficult.
